Prettier primal Mutie!
King Sunray is slowly patrolling his territory, a few hours into his walk, he comes across one of the many small lakes in his area. He decide this is a good place to take a break, so he find a nice shady spot by the water, leisurely taking his time to drink his fill, calmly lookin around. He notices some dust rising in the distance, soon he can see a small herd of Zebra running from two lionesses. Sunray smiles, recognizing Regal and Beauty, his two favorite lionesses. Suddenly, he turns his head sharply back to the pond, noticing something moving on the other side. Slowly, Mercury walked out from the brush, making instant eye contact with Sunray. Mercury knows he has to be very careful here, he is in the presence of the King of the territory that he is trespassing in. He looks Sunray over, noticing his large primal fangs, his bright red and orange colors, his large, strong muscles. He knows that this is a formidable and strong lion he is facing. Sunray doesn't drop his gaze, slowly he stands, completely confident in his control and authority, he walks to the waters edge. "Well, what do you want young lion? I can tell from your gaze you are no stupid cub, so why are you knowingly trespassing on my territory?" Sunray says, in his low, gravely voice, his gaze still boring into Mercury. Mercury is momentarily startled by Sunray's strong, confident tone, this lion means business. "I know I am trespassing. I beg your forgiveness, for I am looking to join a new pride. Is there any way you could consider having me?" Mercury says slowly, lowering his head turning his gaze down away from the king, looking at the ground in front of him. Sunray sits down on his haunches, studying Mercury, looking at his large primal build, noticing his strong muscles, and dull colors. "Alright, we will see how you do." Sunray calmly said. Mercury looked up excited, "Thank you, noble King." Sunray nodded, "Let me show you to the den, then. Come on" He said, standing up and stretching his front legs. Mercury hurriedly followed him, careful to let the King have his distance.
