She happened to be visiting the lands of Duskfall, where a banished friend from the Summer palace known as Enji resided during the month of august, where she met Atekai, who had been paid to come to Duskfalls land to breed with some of his lionesses. She immediately fell in love with him, despite their wildly different natures, and he with her. However, as she is a goddess of the Spring Palace, Cybele has a kind, gentle nature and is, like other lionesses from the Spring Palace, forbidden from forming relations with males of an evil or brutal nature, such as Atekai. She saw past his brutal nature, realising he wasn’t all bad, and decided to breed with him. As her cub was a forbidden GodChild, she raised Roaming Clouds as best she could then left her in Duskfall’s pride with Enji. Cybele still often visits Roaming Clouds and Enji, along with her forbidden love Atekai in the Outlands where savage males usually reside outsid the month of August.
