Chiku and Mmea were cuddling together when a very friendly male came up to them.
"Hello!" He said, sitting down a little bit away from them.
"Hi!" Chiku said, super excited to meet someone new.
Mmea rolled onto her side before quickly standing up, going up to the male and glaring a bit.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Tahoma! I don't mean any harm, I promise, I just wanted to know if you'd like to join my group."
"For what? What do we get out of it?" Mmea grumbled.
"Food?... Cuddles?... Clean wat-"
"Cuddles!" Chiku said, jumping up to her paws.
"I love cuddles. I'm in!"
"No, we're n-"
"Awesome!" Tahoma said, accidentally cutting Mmea off.
Chiku followed Tahoma back to his pride, with Mmea reluctantly following her.
They got to know everyone, before Tahoma led them both to their own cave, and leaving them on their own.
Chiku convinced Mmea to stay there with her- there was food, clean, non-smelly water, their own cave, and tons of lions to cuddle with! What more was there to want?
Mmea seemed to think there was tons of other things to want and need, but she had grown up with Chiku, and wasn't about to lead her after almost four years of being the best non-related sisters, ever.
Chiku was on a walk on her own, when she met a gorgeous lioness, that she just had to talk to.
"Hello!" She said as she trotted up to the lioness.
The lioness seemed a little spooked at first, but quickly smiled and greeted Chiku back.
"Oh, hello. Are you on your own, too?"
"Nope! I'm just on a walk. I got kinda hungry, so I'm looking for rodents..."
The lioness chuckled softly.
"Mind if I join?"
"Not at all!"
They hunted together, working together to scare out some rats from hiding in some brush.
Afterwards, they chatted for a while, introducing themselves.
Apparently, that "gorgeous lioness," had a name just as gorgeous as herself, Eshe.
Chiku led Eshe back to the pride, and the two quickly became good friends.
After about a week of being friends, they decided to band together with Mmea, and start hunting, forming a nice little group.
They had fun together hunting, and got some pretty okay hunts in, but they just needed more members to hunt down the good stuff. ...Like wildebeest.
Chiku loved wildebeest.
It didn't take very long for Chiku to meet Rashida, a friendly, but semi-reserved lioness.
She watched Rashida hunt down a whole gazelle within minutes, and it definitely impressed Chiku.
She went up to Rashida, scaring her a little, before calming her down and inviting her to join her hunting team.
Rashida accepted, and after that, their hunts skyrocketed in success. Having four lions, especially with a lion as good with hunts as Rashida was, was wonderful and incredibly triumphant.
What's better than four lions? Five.
Soon after meeting with Rashida, Chiku met Serwa, a lioness very similar to herself.
They were both very energetic, friendly, and so talkative. Obviously, they got along great, and hunted just as well.
