Was found caught in a poaching trap


Day 3, When a Ruby loses its shine and the Galaxy is entrapped:
This morning wasn't as warm and inviting as the previous. Something was wrong.
Okleska looked around, finding everyone looking downcast. She asked Tulip Stone when she found him and he explained that Ruby had died that night. Ruby, the First Lioness Damien had met, his most trusted companion and his barren Queen. Damien had discovered her body right beside them while they were cuddling as usual. Any illness she had or concerns she kept to herself, she didn't want Damien to worry about her and to enjoy the time they both had left together. He explained his father was... distraught for lack of a better word. He left with Ruby's body and he hasn't returned since. Tulip Stone said that Ruby was like a second mother to him, understandably, his own mother is Damien's Second Queen, but she was also a mother and sister to everyone else. Damien needed his own time to grief the loss of his lover, his queen, the protector of his children... his best friend.
The morning was spent in mourning, quiet and grey.
Eventually, Damien returned later in the afternoon. Everyone watched as he slowly walked to his section of the Den, lying on his favourite rock - the rock he shared with Ruby. No one bothered him.
Tulip Stone had eventually taken the role of King for the day, leading the hunters out and asking Beauty to take the younger males out to patrol. He had asked Okleska to stay with the others and make sure that no one left for the moment. Damien protected his territory better than any one of them, and it would be better if everyone remained close to the den.
Okleska had done as she was asked, but was eventually asked by one of the Elder Lionesses to get her some materials for bedding. She was eager to leave the den-area to explore more and accepted. She quickly told Vanilla Cake so she would have an alibi if she "took too long", he accepted but told her to be careful.
She took her time finding bedding items, looking around the foliage and finding many bugs and small animals.
But she also found one of those Human-made items.
She wasn't sure how to handle one, it was lying flat and had teeth facing upward. It was intimidating.
A loud roar rang out and it made Okleska freeze. Damien rushed past, booming out another roar, some Hunters followed him. There were loud BANGS and non-lion shouts.
Okleska watched as two-legged creatures ran off quickly, the Hunters quickly chasing after them.
There were roars and growls, Okleska had gotten closer, curious to see why someone was upset and what was happening. She ducked behind a bush to see the situation, wondering who Damien is trying to get to. She sees a heavily scarred young grey Lionesses with faint markings of many colours roaring at him, swiping with one paw while the other seemed to be trapped in a human-made trap. She was surrounded by netting, some of it being cut by Damien so he could get to her, but she was both backing up and threatening him. Red catches Okleska's attention, and she saw two small darts in the Lioness' rear. The Lioness is wobbly on her paws as she keeps her aggressive demeanour in front of Damien. She hissed at him when he stepped through, and she swiped at him, getting his face.
Okleska decided she should leave.
Vanilla Cake was waiting for her, interested in what all the noise was about and why someone was shouting. Okleska just told him someone was caught in a trap and was upset.
Later in the afternoon, Damien was carrying the Lioness on his back with some Hunters following him - she was knocked out. Okleska was concerned but kept quiet. Although she was worried about the Lioness, she didn't go see where she was or if she was okay because she knew that if she were within reach, the Lioness could hurt her.
But eventually, the Lioness woke up and made a loud fuss. Okleska listened with every young lion as the Lionesses provided backup for Damien if need be. It was a little scary, but she eventually quieted down. A few Lionesses advised Okleska to leave the new Lioness alone, informing her that her name was Galaxy and that she was young - if Galaxy ever came up to Okleska, don't necessarily be cautious, but don't turn her back. Okleska heeded those words well.

Day 4: Jasper cracked and Steel bowed, sweet Buttercream found hidden in protective bars.
This morning was no better than the previous. Okleska found herself walking through the den, losing sight of two notable hunters of the pride. She found Vanilla Cake and asked what was going on - it turned out Jasper and Steel were both very ill, having both been bit by a snake the previous night's hunt. Damien was currently watching over them, leaving Tulip Stone in charge of the Pride again.
The morning consisted of Okleska helping out with the brood mothers and gathering what they need for the cubs. It's a nice job, and it gives her enough time to explore while he's out of the den. But she wants to go further.
At some point, Galaxy had trudged out of the den, limping and angered. Okleska was wary of crossing her path as she was carrying supplies, but Galazy growled at her to follow, so she did.
Okleska had followed Galaxy through the territory, both were in silence. Eventually, Okleska caught the scent of one of those two-legged animals and saw one walking nearby. Galaxy pushed her down to crouch, both of them hiding in some bushes to watch the two-legged humans.
Galaxy was eager to hunt the two-legged animals, and it seemed to Okleska that she was a witness to what she was doing.
Before they could do anything, a deep roar rang out, and Tulip Stone charged through the foliage to attack the two-legged animals. Okleska sat up, watching as Tulip Stone growled and snarled at each one, cornering each one against a large metal thing. Okleska was confused as he didn't bat at from or clawed them, but she could see his paws and his golden extensions - and his back paws' lack of claws. Tulip Stone was clawless, disguising his disability with extensions.
Okleska wanted to watch more as Tulip Stone reared up to bite, but her attention is drawn to more metallic structures.
Or more specifically, what was in one of the structures.
A multiple coloured Lionesses with black, brown and tan stripes and white under is inside a barred structure. Around her are other barred structures, empty and seemingly ripped open, but not hers.
Okleska was confused, but she walked around the structure, looking for a way to open it while the lioness quietly told her to run, but Galaxy rammed into the structure, knocking it on its side and using her weight to snap some of the bars. The Lionesses immediately jumped out.
The Lioness immediately goes for Galaxy, rubbing her head on hers and saying she thought Galaxy died.
Tulip Stone hurriedly came up to all three of them, blood on his maw as he told them to run back to the den.
Okleska had ran, she knew this situation was dire.
In the afternoon, the Lioness was welcomed into the Pride, introducing herself as Buttercream - Galaxy's mate. Buttercream had thanked everyone for welcoming her and looking after Galaxy - much to Galaxy's embarrassment...
Okleska had been told off by Vanilla Cake for running off and nearly getting hurt, but he forgave her anyway, seeing as she helped with rescuing a lioness.
