Her voice comes out a little crackly but smooth ‘ ‘ Before she bounded towards her bed in the stars she pronounced me Head Broodmother, You may now call me Mother StarStripe. ‘ ‘

StarStripe gently tends to the mass of cubs at her paws, She tells them the many stories about her mother DarkStripe with misty eyes. The cubs listen in awe of the beloved lioness. You're sure StarStripe's mother is proudly looking down from her bed in the stars, she would be pleased to see how her kin had grown.

StarStripe seems to be completely in love with her newest granddaughter, EggPie, who was celebrated as the first Piebald cub of their reigning king; UsbasteStar. You find her tending to her daughter and granddaughter, making sure they are fed and cleaned. What a lovely grandmother.

StarStripe trots over to you, seeming a little bittersweet, she says to you ' ' As I am getting old, I have decided to retire and leave my firstborn in charge of the other broodmothers!
