*Gladiatrices* - The most diverse fraction of the Colosseum Pride, consisting of all regular gladiator lionesses. They regularly train and fight in the Arena, but also assist other ranks. When a Matres Gladiatrices passes away, oldest of the Gladiatrices steps up to her place and becomes new Matres. SÁGA: Old Norse name derived from the word sága, meaning "the seeing one." In mythology, this is the name of a goddess of the Aesir, and possibly another name for Frigg. Daughter of primal lioness Torhilda, first in the Colosseum pride born with strange greenish markings. King Aeneas particularly liked her odd markings and decided to keep the cub in order to breed more of the similar.
