Please return her once she turns 12, 13 the latest :)
Sunshine is a free-spirit, she's not happy staying in one place for too long, and doesn't want to be tied down to one place. While she stays loyal to her homeland, she would rather be out and about seeing all that she can.
Personal Rules: Feel free to breed her, keep cubs, hunt with her, etc. Almost all decor I've put on her is out of uses, so please do not remove them, feel free to add some that goes with her theme tho! Please write a bit about her stay. Don't erase what others have written. Journal is for Sunshine's First person account, notes are for host's point of view.
Sunshine's Journal:
3-10-2023- I was wandering the dry desert when I came across a queen from a nearby pride. We flirted for a bit, and she invited me to join her pride. As much as I appreciated the offer, I told her that I don't really 'do' prides. She told me that she understood, but said that I was more than welcome to stay in her territory for a while. Given the increase in poachers, I took her up on the offer. Having a safe place to rest never hurts.
Despite being an outsider, I was welcomed warmly by the other lions, and was decorated in the loveliest flowers I've seen. A mature lioness by the name of Iliad even apologized for only being able to find pink flowers on such short notice!
3-14-2023- From the moment Queen Lis invited me into her lands, I've been treated as nothing less than royalty. I was given special permission to share the queen's cave, which was completely covered in soft furs and feathers. Every morning, I awoke to a personal grooming from the queen herself. I mostly spent my days accompanying the queen on her daily tasks, playing with the cubs, getting to know various pride members. During dinners, I was seated with high ranking lions, and ate nothing but the best.
At some point during my stay here, I became pregnant, and just last month I bared two of Lis's cubs. I love both my cubs, and Lis, greatly. I've grown a sense of loyalty to this pride... However, staying put just isn't who I am, and now that I've recovered from my first ever pregnancy, I'm ready to see the world again. I plan to bring my cubs with me until they're weaned, and to send them back here with their other mom, it's a lovely pride, and I know they'll be taken care of. I've told Lis, and she took it well, but I also told her that once I've seen everything there is to see, I'll come back for good.

Sunshine came to our pride. She was very curious. But she was kind and alwags tried to help when she could. We made sure she was well feed so she didn't have to worry about her next journey. Our broodmother, Esme often checked in on her cubs to play with them. She bid us farwell, then headed on her way.

Story: Sunshine made her way to the Overwatch pride by accident, really. But, the moment she stepped onto the territory, and felt the gods' blessing on the land, she decided she would stay for awhile. The terrain was rocky, where she entered, and she cut her foot on a particularly sharp stone. because of this, she stayed a little longer than intended. However, she was not unhappy with this, as she quickly befriended many members of the pride before moving on again.

Story: I found myself in a vast desert, hoping to be able to stay somewhere warm and cozy. This wish didn’t last long however, as not only was the den I found myself in full of cold responses to her greetings and colder glares, but a
bizarre winter had also set in, seemingly out of nowhere. I discovered that one of the pride members,
Asra, had started showing signs of a long dormant illness coming to life. An illness which could possibly result in the death of much of the pride. Needless to say, I didn’t stay long.

Story: I found myself traveling through a thick forest, shrouded in a low hanging mist. I felt a bit panicked but tried my best to keep a level head. I've been though worse. Suddenly a scent hit my nose and I inhaled sharply, turning around to face the fragrant newcomer that approached from my right. "Hello, no need to fret, I'm the Queen of these lands and I mean no threat. I haven't ever caught your scent around here before, are you passing through or...?" She let the sentence trail off, her tail flicking slowly. I snapped out of the trance her glowing eyes had pulled me into and huffed softly "I'm a traveler. I visit prides far and wide, taking in all life has to offer." Otesha chuffs and her lips curl into a sort of smile "Oh, well you're welcome to rest your paws alongside my pride, perhaps you can tell us some stories from your travels-!"
I duck my head in thanks and follow her to her den, taken aback by how many unique looking lionesses lived here, embellished in all sorts of paints and shiny rocks. Otesha explained how every lioness gets different sorts of jewelries as they grow into maturity, or when they complete a major milestone or life goal. As I laid in the Oasis of Grandeur with her many other lions gathered around, young and old, to share stories of their own and listen. As we shared tales a few of the cubs piped up that I had earned my own adornments, to which I sheepishly declined, before Otesha herself agreed, claiming she would be honoured to have her prides colors on me.
Time passed, relationships between me and her pride built up, eventually I even chose to mate with Otesha and have her cubs, knowing I would once again have to leave them behind. Whenever the thought of leaving crossed my mind Otesha popped up as if she was reading my thoughts and snuggled into my neck, telling me it will be alright. And I knew it would be but the reassurance was still so soothing to my nerves. Eventually the birth came and went and as I nursed my wonderful little bundles of joy, I felt the itch of my paws that I knew too well by now. I couldn't bring myself to stay much longer and when I told Otesha such, she sighed softly. "I understand, dear. I won't ask you to stay, but I sure hope to see you around again some day." She chuffed, laying next to me to begin grooming my face "Your cubs will have a place here for as long as they please. Who knows, maybe they'll follow in your paws steps."
When the sun rose on the day I both dreaded and longed for, I finally did so with a heavy heart, a huge new family, many many stories, and even more thoughts to fill my head during countless days I'll spend padding along to my next destination.

Decor: Claw Extensions [Gold]
June 3rd:
It had been quite some time since I’d come across a pride. I was starting to become restless. Hunting for myself was a difficult task, and water was starting to become scarce. Just as I felt like losing hope, I came across a mysterious lioness who announced herself to me as
Mungu wa Roho. I didn’t speak swahili, but she told me the meaning of her name wouldn't matter. “So, traveller, I presume?” Mungu set off, expecting me to follow her. I did. “Yes, is this a pride?” Mungu yawned slightly, stopping to stretch her muscles before she continued walking. “These are the outlands to the Kiburi Pride. I, too, was nomadic. It’s simply in my nature. But I don’t mind staying here for a normal lion’s lifetime. To me, that’s simply a moment in my eternal existence.” I assumed she was joking, so I chuckled slightly. Mungu shot me a cold glance before she came to a halt. “Mgando doesn’t need to know you’re here. I’ll bring you some food from the hoard occasionally.
A few days had passed, Mungu always showered me with the freshest carcasses and trinkets. My favourite being golden-encrusted claw extensions.
“Oh no, I can’t…” I winced at the unbelievably generous offer. Mungu scoffed and called over the Raven who usually sits at her paws. “No worries, I’ll have Merula find you something more special.”
I gasped, “Mungu! Please, you’re too kind. I don’t need all these gifts, they’ll be hard to travel with.”
After a while, Mungu finally managed to convince me about the claw extensions, she made a good point that they’d be good for self-defence when I’m on my own. I had to admit, despite her initially unapproachable attitude, I’d grown quite attached to Mungu. There were times when we just sat and spoke, endlessly, about everything and nothing. I felt horrid that I didn’t let their Queen, Mgando, be aware of my presence here. Mungu always assured me that everything would be alright though.
I felt I’d grown too comfortable, living off the Kiburi Pride’s resources and their land. In fact, I felt guilty. To make up for it, I tried to hunt down a sizable meal to offer to them but it seems hunting was never really my thing. In the end, I had to leave the pride with nothing I could give them in return. I gave Mungu a heartfelt goodbye and was soon on my way again.
Mungu told me she’d look out for me, whatever that meant.

Story: I somehow found myself at Melinoes doorstep once more, though I could have sworn I only walked in a straight line. As friendly as they were, I was off put by the strange circumstances, and decided to leave as soon as possible, hoping I would end up somewhere new, instead of back here again.

story; As Queen Sorrow let me into her pride just to stay for a few days, I found myself somewhat happy. The lionesses here, were really respectful, while some looked and sounded like out-casts. I don't know, all the lionesses seemed different. Some where colorful, some were out of place, while others had cool mutations. As I hunted buffalo and gazelle, the queen seemed respectful as well. I was happy to be here, well, for now, of cours.
