Although she was sold as a cub by her previous pride, she has never once felt as though her worth was in question. She was the hunt leader and a clear favorite of Heavenly's—despite his more recent lack of attentions. She knows her duties outside of hunting are the most important. Becoming the new pridemother was very bittersweet—Enya had been a kind and gentle lion, beloved by the entire pride. Her death was incredibly sad, but also meant that the mantle would be passing on to Cherry, as the oldest lioness. It was time to retire from the hunt and focus on passing on her wisdom, gained by old age.
