Biography
Copper was the first male cub in Thunder Mane's pride. He thought, deep down, that he deserved to be the future heir because of it. After all, Thunder Mane chose him! The gracious king had brought him from the trading center to live in his pride. Kairu, on the other hand, hadn't been chosen at all, but merely born into his position. He at first resented Kairu, but after talking to him, became such good friends with him that he could hardly dislike him at all.

When Thunder Mane brought back an intimating lion he'd purchased to be the future heir of the pride, Copper humbly accepted. He already knew Thunder Mane favored him more than the chosen heir, who was named Baron. When Kairu was sent away to live at another pride, he sorrowfully said goodbye to the lion he had come to know as a brother.

He was elated when he received his horns, the signature mark of a chosen male in Thunder Mane's pride.

You heard last night that Copper cleared some fallen branches and brush from a path near the den. Now the lionesses can drag prey back easier! Nice!
