•~Clear Rocky Stream~•

The large river filled with thousands of animals dying to get a sip of the life sourcing sweetness. Water was scarce these past few months and after the big storm we just had, most crevices and areas were filled with water. Greedy predators once coming here to kill sport, now come weak, tender, and used, reduced to a mere carcass. I look around the river trying to find a place to shimmy in line for a drink. As fights break out from the sheer number of other species, i get lightheaded. My paws tread the wetted grass along the river and i decide to continue moving to find water. I stumble upon a shallow yet very rocky stream of water. Not a animal in sight and i decide this would be my stream, i would drink from this whenever!! I crouch to begin marking my territory when im suddenly bitten on my back leg! I jump and look down at the bluest eyes i have ever seen. The lioness blended into the stream PERFECTLY.. “Did you just try and mark me?” the lioness says. I think for a moment, the predicament i am in is unsettling. “You honestly blended in to the river, but if u wanted me to mark me then i guess i did!”. We chat for a while, and she shares a lizard she caught. Hours later….well…..only god knows what they were doing!!
