She was chosen to be Lethe's guardian from a young age, (starblessed lions had to stick together, after all.) with the intent to protect him from threats he might not notice in time, like an ambush. She's only supposed to be on her guard when Lethe is outside of the well defended, well maintained territory, but she often manages to join him on patrols. Lately, Lethe's been sending her on hunts to get her spending some time with the other lionesses.
