Sputtering, you hop backward as laughter fills your ears. Once you've shaken enough of the water out of your eyes, you open them and see Fork giggling hysterically in the water before you, her silver fur sopping wet. "You should've seen your face!" She laughs, her unique lavender eyes sparkling with delight. Unlike you, she doesn't seem bothered in the slightest by the water- in fact, she almost seems to enjoy it. It's a hot day, sure, but still! That's when you realize: wasn't Fork supposed to be out with the hunting party? When you bring this up to her, she gives you a guilty look. "Well, I figured it probably wasn't that important... and it's way too hot out anyways!" Despite your irritation, you just don't have the heart to punish that apologetic face. Instead, you settle for a stern look and encourage her to head back to the canyon soon.
