Maui entered Eternity kings territory Beaten up, It seems he was ambushed by bunch of Crazy hyenas Thankfully he made his way to eternity kings territory where he was protected and safe. A little later the hyenas gave up on there Mission and fled
He was patched up by 1 of The broodmothers in eternity's pride
Succubus informed him that would be left with a few scars But he'll make it. After everything settle down He stayed for a while until he felt like it was time for him to take his leave And then continued the adventure

Pride: Goldrausch (C4SH #252572)
After Maui took his leave from the kingdom that originally helped him out with shelter and restoring, the lone traveler had to wander around for what felt like decennia until he finally found another pride. It took possibly a few days, maybe even a week to get there. Especially since he had no intend of going there in the first place so he didn't have a planned out route that would help him not to get lost (believe me, he did loose track of where he was going multiple times before he smelled a pride's border markings).
Maui dwelled deeper inside of the territory, which appeared to oddly enough be located in a very deserted, almost wasteland like place. It was mostly sand with some very brittle plants sticking out of the ground every once in a while. Why would a pride settle down here? There is now way there's any prey here! Maui continued on, soon reaching the heart of the marked out lands; a couple of temples, most of which in ruins but for one humongous one, surrounded by snake statues and.. even live snakes crawling all over it? A shiver went down the bob-tailed lion's spine at the sight, yet he approached anyway, thirsty, hungry and looking for a short stay.
He was met with two lions. Well, lions..? They didn't truly seem like lions. One seemed like a large female, but her face was covered, with larger, pointy ears coming out from underneath the horned hood. Her nose seemed almost canine like, and her face and legs seemed to be almost petrified.. The second lion, a tinier male; possibly a submale or even a heir, seemed more approachable, yet still very unlion-like. He had dead white eyes, something what seemed like a black jackal mask, or was it his actual head? Oh, and not to forget: bat-like—no, dragon-like wings?
Maui walked up towards them with a shuffle, unsure what these strange lion-like creatures would do to him. They seemed to live and endure each other, similar to a normal pride. Maybe it's just some costumes.. The tiny male immediately went a bit more hostile as you approached them, arching his back and snarling, while the female who you'd though would be more aggressive greeted you friendly. “Good day, traveler.” she started, her uncanny face somewhat smiling and resembling that of a human. “My name is Ausländer. I assume you come here as a stop on your route? Hoping for shelter and rest? Or is there something more you're longing for from this place, perhaps a desire ? Maybe you've heard word go around about my king being able to grant you your wishes, that he was formed from time and space itself, holding magic in his veins.. If so, I'd have to command you to leave, unless you're ready to make a sacrifice.”
Maui immediately explained that, as she presumed, he was only there for a short stay before he could continue his journey, on which she sent away the young male that had been watching him from the side and asked the bob-tailed lion to follow her inside the temple. It was abnormally cool inside, adorned with gold, carvings and paintings. All of which representing snakes in some way. Other than that there was a large pool of water, as well as plants every corner he looked. It was like the pride's personal little oasis! In it, he saw two large rooms, one of which seemed to have the lesser important lions based on how it was decorated and how the lions looked, and the other was, well, the opposite. In front of the 'important' lion room, he saw another male. A bit larger than the one before, yet much scrawnier except for his front legs. Another oddball, appearance wise. He too seemed almost draconic, and now Maui understood why Ausländer said lions would say he wielded magic in his vessel. He introduced himself as King Goldrausch and offered Maui a place to stay as well as some food for the upcoming days.
After maybe a little less than a week, Maui said his goodbyes to the pride that cared for him. Goldrausch on his turn rubbed against him, wishing him a well journey and leaving him a gift: a golden snake armband in memory of his pride of devotees to what seemed like a snake deity!

Pride: ˚₊‧꒰ა Castiel ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ (#395271)
The days went by and Maui was back on his traveling endeavors. He passed a few prides but he didn't feel drawn to them, it was almost like his body was leading him to a specific destination, to which he complied. What felt like hours he suddenly hears the sound of water. Walking passed some trees he comes across a river, Maui decides that this would be the perfect time for a rest. He walked to the edge of the river to have a drink. Lapping at the water he noted that it tasted oddly fresh, no hint of fish or even a plant-like aftertaste. "Hello..." a soft yet deep voice was heard behind him. Swirling around Maui was ready to fight when his eyes met the starry blue glow that stared back at him. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." the lion said. Maui was not gonna lei if he said he was confused, in front of him stood the form of a lioness, yet the voice and aura was that of a male. "Who are you?" Maui asked with a questionable look. The lion looked at him with a blank expression, ""I am Castiel. I'm an angel of the Lord."
"A what?" Maui couldn't help but ask. "Never mind...and you are"
"Oh I'm Maui, it;s nic to meet you," He responded, it couldn't hurt to be friendly. Castiel stays quiet after that, leaving them both in silence. "Are you a fellow traveler?" Castiel suddenly asks, stepping closer to Maui. "Yes, indeed I am." Was all that Maui could say. If he was honest with himself this situation felt a little strange. But then he saw Castiel start to smile, which Maui thought suited him...or her, he was definitely going to ask Castiel about this later. "If you would like, you may stay with me, I mean, my pride for the time being." Feeling a strange warmth at what Castiel said Maui agreed and walked alongside Castiel to his pride.
When they entered the pride Maui was instantly swarmed by all kinds of lions. But strangely each one wanted to know about his scars, that was when he noticed that none of them, even Castiel didn't bear a single scar. Another thing to ask. He sat down as they brought him a meal and shared stories of his travels.
That evening Castiel came bye and invited Maui to their personal den. Inside Maui thought that this would be the perfect time to ask Castiel all of his questions. "Castiel?" he asked softly. The lion turned towards him, "Yes Maui?" Castiel responded. Taking a deep breath Maui asked, "What are you, gender wise?" Castiel seemed to be thinking at that question but responded, "I...don't have one. But if it would make you feel comfortable to refer me to a specific gender then I wouldn't mind." Maui actually understood what Castiel meant by what he said and nodded his head. Castiel moved closer towards Maui, their noses barely touching. "Would you like me to heal you?" Castiel asked in a whisper.
"What?" Maui was confused. "Your scars, I could heal them for you." Castiel looked deep into Maui's eyes, the lion felt his cheeks redden. "No..." his voice finally came out. "No?" Castiel was confused. Maui looked away for a moment, "Each scar means something to me, that I have made it out and proved myself strong enough." He looked back up at Castiel, "I would like to keep them." Castiel's gaze softened and he moved closer resting his head against Maui's, "As you wish." Maui closed his eyes enjoying the warmth of their breaths combining.
Later that night the two talked and shared stories from their experiences in the world, Castiel staying close to Maui's side until Maui and Castiel snuggled against each other, their body heat keeping each other warm. Maui strangely didn't mind and enjoyed their stay together.
That was until he had to leave. He stood at the edge of the pride, Castiel by his side, "I have something for you." Maui looked at Castiel, "Really, what is it?" Turning to his side Castiel retrieved a headwrap made from elephants tusks. "The cubs helped me with this, it represents a symbol of supernatural strength and power." Castiel started to place the headwrap on Maui as he explained. Moving his head from side to side Maui got used to the weight on his head. "Thank you Castiel." He smiled at the lion next to him. Castiel smiled back as he moved closer to Maui, "Your welcome." Resting their heads against each other Castiel said his final goodbye, "Be safe."

Bruised Scrotum has gifted Maui a little fox friend for comfort on his journeys
The sun slowly rises to highest point, Maui decides to rest under the shade of a tree. Panting himself away from the heat, slowly falling into a nap.
Awoken by a commotion, he finds himself surrounded by some lionesses! All their wide pitch eyes staring into his made him shiver quite a bit. He frantically gotten up and backed away. “Might this one be hurt or perhaps ill?” A whisper could be heard from a younger lioness. “Look at it’s scars.. “ said another one. Maui then looks around for his 3 pets, wondering why they hadn’t woken him up sooner then realizes why, the cubs of this odd pride r chasing them around and trying to catch them! Maui jumped into action to shoo the cubs away but was stopped by the lionesses. “This herd is not yours to take! You FILTHY BRUTE!” Snarled a lioness, sheilding Maui from the cubs. “W-what, no, wait, i wasnt trying to-“Get The Bull!” An older lioness called, completely interrupting Maui. Maui sat there, somewhat relieved that the cubs stopped attacking his pets but still quite worried about his fate. The lionesses of the pride kept baring their teeth at him as a warning. “Hm?” A distorted voice called, rising from the hoard of lionesses. Maui then sees a lion..? No, a ram or deer staring back at him, it has the body of a fit lioness though? Maui squints then wipes his eyes. The Ram moves closer to Maui in odd movements, like as if the creature was carried by a string. “Ah, a traver” the ram reassures his lionesses. “Well, welcome traveler! Im hoping you wont stay long, we don’t provide many spaces for lion such as you.” It smiled, inching closer to Maui and disrespecting the lion’s personal space. Maui could see that this creature’s eyes are also pitch black, then notices that the ram looks quite hollow. The ram drew back and whispered something to a lioness which she nodded at. “Come along, oh, and your pets wont be eaten anytime soon.” She purred. The hoard of lionesses followed the leading lioness along side Maui. “Here, this is where youll be staying” the lioness showed Maui to an empty den. While most skattered, some stayed behind and studied the traveler. Some poked him while others stared at him, or atlest he thought so as the pupils where unseen. As the sun slowly fell, a lionesss brought all the cubs to his den. He then realized that the pride set him in the cub’s den. He groaned as they bit at his ear and pounced on his tail. All the cubs fell asleep quite quickly which relieved him greatly, he shortly fell into a deep slumber.
Maui wakes up back at the tree. Huh?? He stumbles around, shocked. Oops, seems like he disturbed his sleeping pets. He rubs his eyes then shrieks. “WHERE ARE MY EYES!” Maui then runs off. Rubbing his eyes over and over again, hoping they come back..

After days of running, Maui was confused on why his eyes were gone…A curse perhaps..? No, it couldn’t be that…Right? So the wise male sets out. Learning the ways of blind lions. But he crossed a certain territory, the kingdom of the sun.
The large caverns and rocks was torture for Maui, tumbling down or even getting scars. Soon, I smelled a scent of a lioness. Thought could not see her.
“Hello, Maui, I’ve heard of you.” The starving lioness says, noticing he had much more different eyes. “You must be the lone traveller that had lost his eyes. Come, the Queen will aid you,” the lioness, which Maui did not know the name of.
“What is your name…?” Maui asked, the lioness guiding him carefully.
The hooded lioness stopped, seeming to be thinking. The basking sun on their pelts seemed to get hotter and hotter, making a burning scent.
“ 𐦂𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐚𐦂.” Her voice spoke, as they both enter a cave. The scent of ancient scrolls and fresh growth, it felt comforting, and seemed to be some type of alter for different gods…huh?
Aliena spoke up, backing away from Maui. “You might be able to see again, but your eyes will be forever gone.” She said, before one of her paws were placed on his face. Feeling a slight breeze come through…woah…He can see!
“WOAH!” the lion said, his paws going up to his face- his eyes were still gone, filled with a black gas-like thing…But at least he can still see.
Now looking at Aliena, she was large, 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 large. Like a primal almost, but without the fangs and fluff…Maybe she’s one of those ancient tribal lions..she had bones and snake skins adoring her body, alluring green eyes looking at Maui.
“You must stay with us for a few days, traveller.” Aliena said, turning around as Maui followed her.
After some days Maui had met the pride, and he fit well with them. Kind and polite they gave them many of gifts, and had Maui learn the stories In the kingdom, with the gods and kings and queens, the battles and much more.
Maui enjoyed the stories and gifts, thankful for the kingdoms kindness,
Queen Dysis was a sweet-heart, asking him for anything she can do for him while doing her Queen duties. He also grew a close bond with Aliena, a young goddess who’s only found in dry season. They did many things together, and it wasn’t until it was his time to go.
“Take good care Maui!” Queen Dysis says, her paw waving to him as she had one of her favorite lioness beside her. Many of the cubs too, had ran to the bob tailed male, crying by him leaving.
Aliena looked at him, sorrow in her eyes for him leaving. Though, Aliena had a plan up her sleeve. She gave a lick on Maui's cheek, before transforming into a random lioness with panther markings.
"I shall travel with you, though only show myself when alone."
And with these final words, Maui set off to his next travel.

As the travelling lion moved into unfamiliar lands, the sky grew darker. As he looked around, confused, he realised there was no sun in this land, instead it was an eternal night. The ground underpaw grew colder and colder as he travelled deeper and deeper into the territory. To combat the cold night, he picked up a branch, lit it on fire and held it in his maw.
Finally being able to see, Maui realised a hyena-like lion was following him, the other's eyes glinting from the fire's light like a predator about to pounce on it's prey. He backed away from the stranger, but as he turned to run, he bumped into another. A smaller lioness hissed as the light reached her eyes, and the hyena lion stalked closer, anger shining in his predatory eyes.
Finally, the stranger spoke. " You're trespassing. " his voice was icy, like a cold winter's breeze. Maui swallowed back his fear, forcing himself to appear confident. " I'm sorry, I did not know. " The lioness that was behind him stalked over to the hyena-like lion, her eyes not leaving the traveller. Maui now realised that the Hyena-like lion was actually just wearing the pelt of a dead hyena, not a strange hybrid. Even still, the pelt-wearing lion was terrifying to him.
"I'll leave, if you so wish. " Maui said, lowering his head in respect for the pelt-wearing lion.
He seemed to consider Maui's offer, his eyes flickering to the lioness beside him. The lioness reluctantly nodded, her tail swaying as she turned around to stalk into the shadows.
" I am Flickirr. " The pelt-wearing lion introduced himself, his threatening demeanour fading into a more friendly one. " My lionesses and I all agree that you are no threat, even if you are trespassing with your unholy light. " . Flickirr's tail flicked to the burning branch Maui was holding. "Oh- sorry. " Maui quickly extinguished the flame, but held onto the stick in case he might need it again. " I'm Maui, i'm a travelling lion. "
" I see, you look quite wise. " Flickirr observed. " Come, you must be hungry. "
Some time passed as Maui stayed in Flickirr's pride. The lionesses were wary of him, but Flickirr remained relatively "Friendly." The traveller observed that the pride was quite unusual. They operated like a regular pride, however their rank system was odd. Only a select few lionesses would hunt, and there were often other lionesses just laying around all the time. They were all well fed, and none looked mistreated.
After a while of staying with Flickirr's pride, he had noticed he'd grown frail. His skin was starting to sag and he felt more tired every day. Swallowing his fear, he approached Flickirr to ask the young pride leader if he could retire here. To his surprise, the pelt-wearing lion responded in the affirmative.
