“Hush! You will awaken the children!” A lioness hisses as you walk by. You turn to face a small path. A lioness with rabbit bones and fur adorning her body stares out at you. Curious, you approach. You whisper an apology and then introduce yourself. “Welcome.” She replied. “I am Rainy, but come now, let’s walk a little further. Away from the cubs.” She rubs her body against you as she passes, clearly not concerned with personal space. Once some distance from the cubs she turns. “Have you come to inquire into the ways of the rabbit?” She asked. She cocked her head, standing still. A flicker appears in her eye. “I can see you have.” She says not waiting for an answer. She circles you. “Yes, yes, you are a fine one. Would be very welcome to us.” She continues circling as she speaks. “I am the leader of our group, a very small group. We believe that the rabbits are the wisest, best creatures. We respect them, infiltrate them, and learn from them.” She smiles cunningly as she passes your face. “Wennet was my mentor. Everything I know, comes from her. I took it farther though. I made us a bunny, set it in a cliff as a reminder of who we should value. If I must I will stop all from trying to get rid of the rabbits. We shall respect them once more! And they shall rule!” She laughs crazily. “Would you help? We’re always looking for strong lions like yourself.” She looks you in the eye and then walks back to the cubs area.
