Breeze Over Cold Stone

At the age of 1yr and 7m, he was informed that he'd have to leave on his own volition before the age of 1yr and 11m. If he did not, he'd be sent off into the wild without protection.
He rambled on along borders, roaring his desperate plea for a secure home; being met with males who had no way of keeping him around. He had not many more places to try. He stopped by a public watering hole and asked around the abundance of males, who seemed only annoyed and agitated by his presence. As he bowed to take a sip of water, he felt the small paws of a tigon on his hind leg. He turned to smack at her playfully, but quickly decided not to; as behind her, a green ennedi king stood tensed but not quite aggressive. The king pondered why he was out alone at a spot for only kings, especially so young- and he couldn't help but rant about his predicament. Much to his surprise, the king offered him a permanent home, citing that his duty would be to protect the tigon and aid the broodmothers. He agreed without hesitation.
