In a flurry the other cubs began to join in her pleading until the broodmother chuckled and nodded in assent. “Very well. Come closer, you three. I will tell you a story about Mina and I, and how we made it to this pride.” —————————— Halimah was the pride's first lioness, and became a devoted broodmother, caring for cubs big and small. Many of the pride's lions think of her in kind for her sweet and motherly nature, including Feliera himself. (NCL) You ran up and greeted Halimah happily. Oops, you also knocked her over with your gleeful shoulder-nudge. Ah well, she just fell over giggling and flailing.
