However, Apedemak took his (adopted) daughter Rosethorn hostage, forcing the leader of DustClan to collect him whispers and food. Fallenstar approached Menhit, and she helped him save her mother's whisper from the celestial king. But Apedemak decided to have Fallenstar act as a condiut for the celestial energy that would turn him into a god. With Menhit's help, Fallenstar temporarily died, stopping the ritual. When he arrived to free his daughter though, he found she had made a pact with Apophis, the Serpent of Chaos, who granted her a weak power over fire and a serpent tounge, allowing her to escape Apedemak's prison. From then on, Rosethorn wore the scales of her god. Her gold earring is made from a melted down Chaos Egg. Although she knows the evil of the Serpent, she chooses to worship it, as it allowed her to gain her freedom. ✮ When Rosekit starts playing a bit too rough, ~~Grandpaw~~ Scorchedstar harshly swipes at them, eyeing them ferociously. Rosekit whimpers and flees, their tail hiding between their legs. Maybe ~~Grandpaw~~ Scorchedstar just doesn't like games? After a long hard day of exploring, Rosethorn offers to knead your shoulders. You happily accept, and you feel great afterwards!
