It was time for pouncing practice, but ☥ Neith ☥ was nowhere to be seen. Apparently another cub told her that gold beetles could be found at the base of a rainbow, so she went to go look.
☥ Neith ☥ is a TRAVELLING lioness! Please return at → 8 ← years old to #189763
Check out this post for more information on the traveling lion clan, Traveler’s Guide to Lioden!
Thank you for allowing the confused Deity, ☥ Neith ☥, to stay with you! ☥ Neith ☥ is slightly unsure of her purpose. However, her protector, Seth, ensures her that she's the fabled goddess Neith! Apparently, when Seth and ☥ Neith ☥ can find her temple, she will be restored to her full form. Which sounds outlandish to ☥ Neith ☥. She’s 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 a lioness, right?

3. Feel free to add any decor, markings, etc. that fit with the Ancient Egyptian / Deity theme! Make sure to list them in the appropriate section with your ID and also note if you would like it returned back to you. If you would like your item sent back to you once ☥ Neith ☥ retires, please make a note of that too.
4. Do not keep for more than 4 RO’s, unless she is pregnant and / or weaning.
5. IMPORTANT - make sure the person you are sending her to is open for her! Additionally, it is appreciated that she is well fed and taken care of before you send her on her way.
6. If you breed her and do not want any of the cub(s), feel free to send them to #189763 before you think about killing / abandoning! If there is more than one cub in the litter and you can’t take care of them all, feel free to send one to #189763.
7. Do NOT remove the bio, change her name, or unsecure. Unsecuring could lead to an accidental loss of her. If she comes up as ‘This lion does not exist!’, the last known person to have her will be blocked
8. If you are removing/changing any marks, please don’t change the ones that have Keep bolded next to it
9. Feel free to add onto her personality along with a snippet of what she did while in your pride!
10. Neith is named after the Egyptian goddess who was the mother of Sobek, Ra, Apep, Tutu and Serket. If she has any cubs in your pride, I think these names if you’re struggling to come up with any! It will fit with the real lore she is inspired by. Additionally, I’d love for one of her cubs to become a traveller, and to continue the ☥ Neith ☥ lineage. For a more realistic goal, feel free to send ☥ Neith ☥ on as many hunts as you’d like during her stay! The Goddess Neith was renowned for her hunting skills, afterall!
By adding decor and to her bio, and expecting any decor you note to come back to you, you understand there is a risk that it will not be returned.

Travel Journal
Mgando, Queen of the Kiburi Pride - #189763
“We defeated the Serpent of Chaos!” A grown, more muscular Neith shrieked, grasping at Seth’s shoulder, “You know what that means? We can find my temple now.” Seth, exhausted from the battle, looked over at Neith with tired eyes. “Yes. I’d like to reconnect with my son, Anubis, before we leave.”
Neith raised a brow, ‘𝘐𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦?’ “What about Bastet?”
Seth’s ear twitched, he clawed at the ground beneath him, engraving ankh symbols into the earth. “Forget Bast.” Thinking it was better to let it be, Neith nodded and turned towards the direction of the pride. “I have someone I’d like to say goodbye to as well.” Despite how hard she tried to hide her embarrassed grin, Seth could pick up on it. He chuckled. “Nalani.” Neith didn’t think she could endure another one of Seth’s rants about how pointless love was, instead she rolled her eyes playfully and bounded through the grass – to Nalani.
“Hey, you.” Nalani emerged from the shadows after spending way too long on her eye makeup. Neith thought it looked stunning, she thought Nalani looked stunning. Nalani purred and nuzzled her face into the fur of Neith’s chest. “I have something for you, Seth says it can offer you protection.” She unravelled a Tyet from her paws and, after waiting for Nalani’s okay, tied it around her hind leg. Nalani snuffled, “Now we match.”
Neith nodded. She could feel tears had risen from her eyes. “Whenever you’re lost, just know I’m out there, thinking of you.” She gestured to her own Tyet around her leg. A single tear fell from Nalani’s cheek, she moved to wipe it away, smudging her precise makeup. She snarled with frustration, and Neith leaned in to lick her cheek. “It’s okay. You’re okay. I love you.”
Nalani’s ears perked up. She’d never heard Neith say it before. It just seemed like some unspoken, obvious but unspoken fact between the two of them. Nalani faltered before uttering, “Love you too. You lovable idiot.” Neith pulled Nalani in for a tight hug, their last embrace for a while, she was sure of it. “I have to go now. My mothers will want to see me. Goodbye, Nalani.”
Slightly sorrowful, Neith pushed through the heartbreak of the goodbyes. This was an adventure! She could finally find her purpose. And once she had, 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦.
“Are you ready?” Seth’s voice pulled Neith out from her mind.
#427775 Pine Woods
Neith walked in to Pine wood's territory, Seth saying someone is here who could help her with her true form. She stumbled across a primal male fast asleep with a different male. Pine Woods greeted her, causing the primal to wake up and grunt that if Pine wakes up Cosmos he will (jokingly) tackle him. Cosmos moved a tiny bit. Neith wondered where the person of interest in. There seems to be some lions with strange Mutations, likes wings and ram horns, when asked about it, they said Henna gave them these features except for Opal who said she does not know.
Soon Neith found henna with a bunch of herbs. "Hello."
Neith greeted her back, Henna seems hyperfocused on what she was doing, Seth getting impatient and began to rant.
"Please stop ranting Seth." Henna replied, " I am just counting my materials."
Henna looks up after she finishes sorting the strangest of herbs.
"I have not properly introduced myself, did I? My named is Henna and I do a lot of things here, the strangest being morphing lions." Henna looked at her and said she cannot help Neith will awakening her vessel because she does not dabble with morphing gods, but she can still give her something to help her.
Seräphiel, Celestial Attendant of Kamari - #27788
With the insight provided by the pride of Pine Woods, they set off on their journey to find the elusive temple of Neith.
After days of travel, they finally reached the borders of a vast and prosperous lion pride. It had been mentioned to them that this pride was the dwelling of someone who might be able to help them locate Neith's temple. Seth eyed the surroundings warily, his godly senses on high alert. Something was amiss here, though not even he was in tune with exactly what. Upon reaching the pride's domain, they were met by a group of regal lions who stood as sentinels at the entrance. Their coats shimmered in various shades, and their eyes held a wisdom that spoke of ages past.
Seräphiel, a lion with an otherworldly presence stepped forward. He welcomed them with grace and curiosity, sensing the divine nature of Seth though unaware of whatever truths Neith held. Seth, on the other hand, eyed Seräphiel suspiciously, sensing that there was more to this lion than met the eye. However, he decided to withhold his judgment for the time being. Seräphiel's gaze was gentle yet penetrating, as if he could see into the depths of one's soul. Neith felt a shiver run down her spine as Seräphiel's eyes locked with hers, though not before giving Seth an indecipherable glance.
"Greetings, Seth and Neith," Seräphiel spoke with a voice that carried an air of tranquility. "As you can tell, I've heard of you through the whispers of allies – I assume what you're looking for is what has brought you to my lands?"
Seth explained their purpose to Seräphiel, expressing their desire to locate Neith's temple. Seräphiel listened attentively, his piercing eyes filled with wisdom. He then regretfully informed them that he couldn't be of direct assistance since he was a mortal lion himself. Neith felt a tinge of disappointment but understood the limitations. She was grateful for Seräphiel's honesty and presence. Seth, however, remained cautious, still sensing something peculiar about this seemingly mortal lion. Despite his suspicions, he respected Seräphiel's words and didn't press further.
Seräphiel, being a generous and hospitable host, offered them food and supplies for their upcoming journey. He understood the significance of their quest and wished to support them in any way he could. The provisions would undoubtedly prove valuable during their potentially arduous and lengthy travels.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden glow over the pride's territory, Seräphiel motioned for Seth to join him in a secluded part of the pride. They walked side by side, the rustling of leaves beneath their paws filling the air with a soothing melody. Once they reached a tranquil clearing, Seräphiel turned to face Seth, his gaze steady and contemplative. He spoke with a calm yet authoritative tone, signaling the seriousness of their conversation.
"Seth, there is something I must discuss with you regarding Neith," Seräphiel began, his voice carrying a weight of concern. "While she is undoubtedly strong and resilient, her journey to discover her true form is not without its challenges."
Seth's eyes narrowed slightly, a flicker of defensiveness surging within him. "What do you mean? Assure yourself of the power of my vessel – there is no challenge we will face that I cannot deal with." he sneered, his voice laced with both offense and suspicion.
Seräphiel sighed softly before continuing, choosing his words carefully. "Neith's journey is not just about finding her temple or awakening her vessel. It is a path of self-discovery and acceptance. The truth of her existence, her divine nature, may unravel truths that could be overwhelming."
He paused, giving Seth a moment to process his words. Seth's expression grew more serious, the lines on his face etching deeper as he contemplated the implications of what Seräphiel was suggesting.
"I have seen it before," Seräphiel continued, his voice filled with empathy. "The clash between divine essence and mortal experiences can be tumultuous. Neith will need your support and understanding, for the road ahead may challenge her beliefs and test her resolve."
Seth's eyes softened, his gaze shifting to the distance as he absorbed Seräphiel's words. He had witnessed the struggles of mortals grappling with their own divinity, the internal conflicts that often ensued. Now, he had to prepare himself for the possibility that Neith might face a similar trial.
Seth finally spoke, his voice tinged with determination. "I will be there for Neith, no matter what challenges she may encounter. She is strong, and together, we will navigate this journey perfectly as intended."
Seräphiel nodded, reassured by Seth's commitment. "I have faith in both of you. I am mostly relieved to hear you're receptive to the existence of problems that cannot be solved through stabbing something until it stops moving."
Seräphiel gets his poor tail yanked for that comment, but it doesn't wipe the little smile off of his face to see Seth was still himself after all these years and that he had finally recognized the celestial being.
As the conversation drew to a close, Seth and Seräphiel shared a solemn understanding. They knew that Neith's path would not be easy, but with the support of her allies and her own determination, she had the potential to overcome any obstacles she faced. With a final nod, Seth rejoined Neith, his mind filled with a newfound sense of awareness. They would continue their journey, facing the unknown together, prepared for whatever revelations awaited them along the way.

As ☥ Neith ☥ walked down a dirt path she wondered where she would stay the night. Turning around she swore that she has heard something behind her, as if someone or something might have been following her. “As if there’s anyone our her” she told herself with a small chuckle. “Well maybe there is, you can never be too careful my dear.” Came an old raspy voice from a nearby bush. Pelt spiking she whipped around and looked at the spot where she had heard the voice, and old lion, at least 17 years of age was slowly making his was out of the bushes that lined the path. I am 🧀 cheese pizza 🧀, I am the former leader of a pride nearby. I assume that you are a traveler, we have had many stop by over the years ^^. “Thank you for the invite”
☥ Neith ☥ replied with a grin.
As she entered the pride the lionesses were eyeing her as if she had stolen their cubs. She figured out that they weren’t fans of outsiders.
After a few days she and the prides lionesses began to get along. They invited her to hunt with them but during the hunt she tripped and went flying of the edge of a cliff, luckily another lioness caught her by the scruff and with the help of another they managed to pull her up. As her time with the pride came to a end she was glad to have made some good friends and decided that when she was done with her travels she would come back and visit.
King of Thorned Roses #208923
Neith and Seth continued their travels, it was still a long way to Egypt but Neith was still as determined as ever.
“We wasted time at the last pride.” Seth spoke, he didn’t care about anything but finding clues to where her temple is and getting there quickly
“Lighten up, I have my whole life to find it, plus I made some good friends there” Neith replied
Neith just scoffs in response, he knew she was at least somewhat correct, but he wouldn’t admit it for anything
The two made it to their next destination, this one wasn’t exactly planned either, but there was luckily a traveller there that might be able to help. Soul Skipper, the daughter of the Reaper and a deity herself was resting there.
Neith and Seth talked to her, asking if she knew anything. Sadly, she didnm5 know where the temple was but since she was also a deity in the form of a lioness that made Neith believe it to be more likely that she is a deity as well.

Neith and Seth set out on their adventure once more. Soul Skipper having told them of skilled shaman in a pride she had visited not too terribly long ago. Soul Skipper had explained how the shaman had given her hope again and let her see her cubs that were taken from her all too soon.
Hope filled the air as Neith's tail swayed side to side and she practically hopped from one paw to the next. Seth couldn't help the tiny smile at the corner of his mouth. Of course he would never let her see it. Finally they reached the pride. They weren't greeted by Cersei but by the new king Tundra "Welcome to my pride. Come I will show you to the pridelands." Tundra would smile and turn heading towards the pridelands.
Along the way Seth explained their reason for coming. Tundra listened with intent a knowing smile forming upon his features. "Ah so you are here to see Angakok the second Come follow me, be forwarned though she is quite pregnant at the moment." Seth couldn't help the growl. If the lioness was pregnant and nesting how would she be able to help them.
At hearing the growl Tundra stopped outside the dens turning to look at Seth. "Listen, I can assume your frustration. There is no need to bring that frustration however into the nesting caves with you. If you will not calm down I will ask for you to stay out here. I am an easy going king but mark my words I will not let distress come to my lionesses in their time of vulnerability." Neith took this moment to bow to Tundra. "I apologize for his actions." Seth huffed and nodded. "I apologize." At this point he would do anything to accomplish his goal faster.
Tundra would nod his head and would lead them to Angakok. Neith stepped forward to do the talking only to open her mouth and not get a single word out. "So you are Neith, and Seth. It is a pleasure to meet you. I apologize for my current state. I know why you are here and I might have something that could help you." Neith would clamp her maw shut as Angakok began to speak. Hope caused the shiver to run through Neith. "My cubs shall be here tomorrow and then I will be able to give it to you. Until then have some fun with the pride. Make a few friends. You can always do with some friends."
Seth rolled his eyes a bit even though the pregnant female was right about the friends. Neither would bow her head. "Thank you." They left the cave and Tundra introduced them to the rest of the lionesses and lions within the pride. The next day as promised Angakok had her cubs. Neith congratulated her and Angakok would then provide a staff like object and some claws. Upon seeing the claws Seth inhaled sharply and grit his teeth. Angakok ignored him. "I cannot explain how these will help you as that is something you must discover yourself but I promise they will help you find your way."
Neith rippled with excitement not understanding Seth's reaction about the claws. She didn't ask either. Pulling Angakok into a hug. "Thank you thank you thank you!" She exclaimed. "Now to figure these out." Her time was growing to an end with the Pridelanders. Finally when it was time to go a bird began to follow them. Seth grew annoyed but Neith told him to shush it. Giggling she enjoyed the company of her new friend that could travel with her.

Harimbo's pride
Neith followed a curious line of guniea pigs as they walked single file into a cave. They seemed unafraid of her or her companions and she just had to know where they were going. Inside the cave an entire ecosytem seemed to be thriving, with lionesses and cubs tending to lush gardens, cleaning up piles of meat that had turned and giving prey animals a wide berth. It was confusing enough to see that Neith didn'tt even notice the large male beside her until he shook his mane.
"Welcome, are you a traveler?" The male seemed to be imbued with some sort of energy, and as he spoke to her several animals and lions alike turned their heads to listen, their faces serene.
"I am," She replied, and a strange sense of calm washed over her. Neith exchanged a look with Seth before they followed the male toward a group of other lions, and a dragon, lounging about.
"Everyone is welcome here," The male explained. "Once I've accepted you into the pride, you're safe, no matter what species you are. Enjoy your stay. My name is Harimbo, if you need anything just ask."
Their visit was short, peculiar, and left them feeling a strange sense of ease and restfulness as the time to leave drew near. Neith hadn't really discovered anything about herself, but she felt full of promise and determination the morning she woke with words "it's time" echoing in her mind.
After a breakfast of meat and fruit provided by some of the animals currently taking up residence inside the cave, Neith looked around for Harimbo to say goodbye and thank him for his kindness. She finds him outside the cave, sitting next to a few graves, each one marked with something unique.
"These are the past Kings," he explains as she approaches. "Each one has helped to shape and guide the pride towards a bright future, which is a terrible weight for the one that comes after them."
"Is it hard? Continuing what's expected of you?"
"Yes, and no." Harimbo's blazing eyes are impossible to read as he lifts his lips in a vicious grin to no one in particular. "The pressure guides me, pushing and pulling like the tides as it shows me the way that's meant for me. If you ever feel stressed on your journey, try to listen to the pressure instead of letting it take over or ignoring it for too long. That's the best advice I can offer."
