Queen Ira

Ira - hebrew - Watchful

The spitting image of her father and just as stingy. The other jungsters tend to keep away from her, as she prooves to be a tattle tale to her father, the king. Needless to say she is mommy's little girl.

After the great drought asked much from the Pride king Helios finally saw reason and offically named Ira - his firstborn and wisest daughter - to become his successor.

Ira learned to control her harsh words as she grew up. Her desicion to take over the throne was rational and only motivated with little contempt towards her halfbrother. Her overruling her father has gained her the respect of most of the remaining doubtful lionesses and under her rule the lifelong ire of King Helioses takeover is finally healing over.
She chose king Prana out of necessity but learned to not only respect but also love him in her own way. They are not lovers per se. Rather it is a familial love of trust and the burden of managing large stretches of land and the animals within it. She is impartial to Pranas other queens as they have agreed that onler her liniage will be considered fit to rule, unless Queen Ira agrees otherwise.

She is primarily the ruler over the lands around the vision lake and leaves the matters of the desert lands and temples to her king.

To her subjects she is generous but she is known for harsh punishments if she feels the laws of the land or pride have been violated. More so with strangers than her own familial lionesses.
