Darcy couldn't accept that the pride was ready to move on. Elaine frowned her piercing white eyes solemnly acknowledging Darcy's bitter feelings. She nodded and allowed the lioness her solitude. Darcy growled low and lay down sadly in the den still aggrieved by the loss of her savior. This is how she would be for months, never bothering to acknowledge Feeking 2's leadership. He understood.
