On a bright afternoon in the planes of the Savannah, Faer, the pride's most successful scout, brought back a shaking cub clinging terrified to the curls of her mane. Apparently while searching for new territory, Faer encountered a cub who had gotten herself stuck in the hole of a tree. The cub had tried to snack on some of the squirrels who made their home in the tree but had gotten half of her body stuck, with only her white splattered rump sticking out. The squirrels were terrified of the huge furry head in their home. Began scratching and nipping at the defenseless cub, leaving her unable to move for hours. Luckily, Faer got her out.
After realizing the cub was a mutation called piebald, Faer jumped for joy and brought the cub back to the pride as an offering for King Destan. The cub was named Acorn due to her origin, of which Faer was very proud of herself for coming up with her name.
Faer tells her that the God of growth and forestation, Seminibus, sent Acorn to the pride and blessed her with her markings. That would explain why Acorn's pelt perfectly matches the land around them and marks all the places that provide the most vegetation and seeds with her white patches. Sometimes, Acorn can even vibrate the little wheat seeds when she's especially mad, Faer tells her she needs to train the skill to be impressive though, hmp!
If this is true, about Seminibus sending Acorn to the pride, she just wishes he didn't do it in such a painful way. Acron can still see the rodent teeth scars on her muzzle!

Acron stumbles around your paws clumsily as she follows you, scampering along. Why are cubs so annoying? And why won't this cub leave you alone?
"Hey, mister!" She calls, demanding you to bow your head to her level. "Could you stop trampling your fat feet all over the place? The poor seeds are getting smushed before they even have a chance to sprout!"
The cub seemed tough, but you had a feeling if you glared to hard she'd jump and run with her tail between her legs.
And, feeling in no mood to deal with a self righteous cub at the moment, he did just that. The cub did in fact cower, but she stood defiantly beside him as they kept walking. She kept pace well, and shut her maw tight anytime the young king looked back upon her.
He’s not sure why he allowed her to keep pace, the gods know they do not need more mouths to feed, what after the pile of newcomers they received the day prior, but he couldn’t help but think that she would be a wonderful addition to their pride.
