Originally named "Are you real...?" because I didn't think this day would ever come - after nearly 3000 CRBs, you'd have given up hope too. He is named after my cat Spirit, who passed away in February of this year. Spirit's birthday was July 3 - how appropriate that this little one was born just around the same time 🥰
I didn't see the achievement pop, so I didn't have any idea he'd been born until I went to my rollover message. I see the cub health section is there, so I'm thinking "Which lethal did I have born this time?" And as I'm reading the blurb, I'm getting more and more confused... especially when the word "leopard" pops up. Upon reading "The cub is a hybrid!" I freeze. Then I cautiously click on the link and just stare in disbelief. It finally happened. It was a weird and fairly anticlimactic way to find out my first First Gen Hybrid was born, but I'm really not complaining haha. I should probably mention that I was quite tired, having just gotten home from a vacation where I got violently ill at the end... and prior to reading this, I had just woken up, so I wasn't thinking as clearly as I could have been lol. Lesson learned - do not read RO messages while that tired, vermax!!
Little dude was cooking while I was sick...! I almost always RO every single day, and go figure, the one time I DON'T, I have a hybrid in the oven. I bred his mom on the 27th, then didn't RO on the 29th and 30th while I was busy expelling my entire volume of fluids from my body. And lo and behold, even though I didn't know it at the time, he had already been conceived. How ironic XD

5 mos: Spirit took the time to carefully place each paw as he scaled a tricky hill. It was a damn impressive climb in the end! +4% training experience!
