Feather Hue was Princess Inaara Whispering Star's second cub born in the pride. She was much calmer and softer than her older brother Gold Tuft, but her build was strange and gangly. She was named for her oddly feathered mane fur and for the soft hues of her pelt. Due to her speed and strength, it was uncertain whether she should be a defender or huntress for the pride. High Priest-King Moonlit dawn knew the pride wanted more royalty as he would not take a queen; he decided it was best to make her a princess alongside her mother.
