Biography

════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

Comet.

The fortunate star.
A strange name for such a normal looking... Lion? Leopard?

He was a leopon.

Of course, he wasn't the most good lucking nor was he the strongest either. Often bullied for both things he lacked he ran away from those cruel words that were directed right at him. How unfortunate or fortunate for him to have wounded right into the "Forest of the damned". Where fog thick as ice permeated the air and skulls of varying animals littered the ground floor. Young and scared the young leopon was, but where else was he able to go? If he wandered back home he'd only be met with punishment, but if he wondered further... where would the vine covered paths take him?

He knew which one he should pick.

As scary as the rumors made the forest, it was more whimsical than it was scary. Especially in a young cub's eyes, but it truly wasn't as terrible as people would say it was. Then what were those skulls that play toward the outskirts of these woods? Were those lion skulls? Or was it just his mind that were seeing them? Despite the shadows beginning to creep along and darken his surroundings, little lights surprised him. Little lights that looked to be his guide further in. His short journey was interrupted and he was soon brought back to the reality he was in.

" Who are you? "

A lioness seemed to speak in front of him. A light shinning brought from the lantern she carried. Those little lights floating around it. He was speechless. He didn't know what to say nor could he; He was a mute afterall. He stammered and even took a step back as if he was intruding. The lioness only seemed to shake her head and the lantern placed down.

" Who are you? "

Silence.

It was deafening.

Comet couldn't reply, yet the lioness seemed content with that. The source of light being left behind as she came closer to the stunned leopon. He didn't know what to do nor did he think he'd be able to do anything. He thought the rumors weren't true, but here he was standing scared and stunned to the approaching rumored lioness. He shut his eyes when she got to close, believing this to be his head as he knew it.

" Ah... So this is who you are, Comet. "

His life changed after that.

For the better.
