Anza found Morning Glory during one of his trips to The Giving Tree.
The cub was scared of joining a new pride, so Anza found her a mouse companion to keep her calm.
Glory spent her first few days in pride hiding under Anza's mane. She was scared even of Mirage, the pride's softest broodmother!
Anza tried to introduce Morning Glory to the other cubs gradually. Eventually, she made friends with a few of them, but she still didn't want to join them when they played in larger groups. Her mouse companion, which she called Doodle, was her favourite playmate.
When she grew up she opened up a little and started training with her pridemates. She didn't like training in large groups, but she enjoyed hunting or wrestling with one or two other lionesses.
She ended up befriending Cosmo and considered her to be her best friend. She didn't need any more friends, but Cosmo liked to spend time with the other lionesses as well, which sometimes made Morning Glory a little jealous. Cosmo realised that, and decided to help her friend socialize with the rest of their pride. Glory was hesistant at first, but in the end she actually started to like group hunts, patrols, or just simply hanging out with a bunch of other lionesses. She even developed a little crush on Precious, but decided to keep it for herself.

Morning Glory was chosen as the leader of The Morning Stars, but she refused to lead the party alone. She asked Cosmo to be her co-leader, to which Cosmo agreed.

When Peanut, the pride's Hunting Master passed away without choosing her successor the pride gathered to choose it for her. In the end, Morning Glory ended up being chosen as the new Hunting Master. She left the hunting party that she was leading before and took Peanut's place.

She once was a mentor of one of Hawk's daughters, Vanilla. Glory ended up viewing Vanilla as her own cub, so when she was banished from the Pride, Glory was devastated. Until now, she had no opinion on the king's choices, but after this incident she turned strongly against him. She took part in an uprising against him, and when he was overthrown, she started searching for Vanilla along with Cosmo and Heather. Unfortunately, they were unable to find her alive... The lioness had been dead for several days when they found her. As a result of these events, Morning Glory decided to retire. She chose Blizzard to be the next Hunting Master.
