Mbaya (Poem/Bio)

On her way a thousands souls lay,
cackling devils ceased from their chase.
With purpose she moves along,
the great wastes going quite long.
Daggers of stones block her way,
and out the hyenas come to play.
But the hyenas cower at what they see,
a vengeance, rage, right beneath.
The lioness swiftly kills,
and leaves them all to a deathly still.

-Mbaya is the queen of Cliffside. A decision made by Century's Strength after claiming the pride.
-Mbaya's former pride used to live in the hyena lands when she was a cub. However, the hyenas picked the pride off one by one until it was only her father, mother, and herself. Unfortunately, the hyenas killed her father right in front of the two rather brutally. Mbaya's mother quickly protected Mbaya and told her to run away. Mbaya did, running away from her mother and the hyenas who closed in on her. From that day on, she vowed to get revenge upon the hyenas responsible.
-From adolescence, Mbaya had killed many hyenas out of her own grief for her pride and parents. She was labeled the "Demon of the Hyena Lands" and was considered to be some sort of demon ready to punish the hyenas into their downfall in hyena lore.
-She met a younger male lion almost as young as her. Both didn't take each other's presence quite well at first, but soon they were onto fighting hyenas together. This younger male lion would become Century's Strength, the king of Cliffside.
-Many lionesses in Cliffside are quite intimidated by Mbaya due to her sinister nature. Because of this however, she is quite well-respected.

!Mbaya is the only one who knows why Century's Strength ran away from his pride at a young age. She knows Century's Strength pride was overtaken by a new king. She knew Century's Strength could never belong in that pride. It became worse when Century's Strength mother passed as well, leaving Century's Strength feeling very much alone despite his mother not being the kindest mother there is.!
