Adol: Mhitaji is first to join King Fahari’s pride as a young lioness. King Fahari has placed the young lioness under Kihisia’s mentorship to help form her into a strong huntress. Fahari believes her needy personality is but a small flaw in a great decision to have her join the pride.
Adult: Mhitaji has grown into a fine lioness. She has completed her training and officially joined Kihisia’s hunting patrol. Everyone is proud of the lioness she has become and welcomes her as full member of the pride.
2y 5m: Mhitaji has been moved to the Cub Den. She will be here for a while yet has she has become the first lioness to bear King Fahari’s cubs! She will stay to nurse the cubs before moving back to the Huntress Den.
Mhitaji has given birth to a single male cub. Despite the love she holds for him, she can’t help but feel disappointed. Because he has a claim to the throne he will not be allowed to live here.
2y 10m: Mhitaji’s son Kujiamini is 5 months old, is weaned, and ready to start training. He will be given 2 years to find a new pride. Mhitaji will now return to the Huntress Den.
3y 4m: It’s Mhitaji, lounging in a tree, who see’s the rogue male sneaking up on the pride. She immediately roars the loudest she could to warn the pride. She hopped from the tree and stood in front of the cub den. The final defense for the little ones inside. From here, Mhitaji is the only one who see’s everything. She sees Kihisa evacuate Kukwepa with Mbaya’s cubs, she sees Mlegevu and Nzuri surround their young, she sees the fight ensue between the male and Fahari, and, unexpectedly, sees Nyororo risk his life helping Fahari. It’s Mhitaji who helps Nyororo patch up his first battle wound.
4y 4m: Mhitaji has given birth to two girls, Makucha and Waoga. Since her son disappeared, she is extremely concerned for her girls safety.
6y 4m: Mhitaji has become a fierce and extremely protective over her newest daughter, Mkaidi. She has just given birth to this singleton, but refuses to let anyone else near her. Mhitajis last two litters have completely disappeared after not making their out date and going to the giving tree. They have been assumed dead and Mhitajj won’t let their fate happen to this cub.
6y 9m: Even though Mkaidi is 5m old now, and is ready to be left alone under Mlegevus watch, Mhitaji refuses to leave the cub den.
7y 5m: Mhitaji has finally moved from the cub den back to the huntress den… only because her daughter is now a year old and moved there herself…. When she heard that yet another of her cubs had gotten the out date Mhitaji was furious. How could this happen to her?! She’s watched every one of her cubs disappear why must she watch another?!
8y 2m: Today Mhitaji watched as her daughter left for her new pride. Mhitaji had to be held back by Nyororo; her anger and panic was so great. Yowling and growls turned into wails and cries shortly after when word spread about Mkaidi’s disappearance and assumed death. Mlegevu comforts her as Mhitaji is pregnant with a new litter. We wouldn’t want anything to happen to them now.
8y 3m: Mhitaji had given birth to a daughter today, who was named Tufuku. All of Mhitaji’s past cubs have disappeared and been declared dead. Her last cub, Mkaidi she tried so hard to protect, was her last straw. She barely looks at this new little one. She wants almost nothing to do with it and keeps herself detached.
8y 8m: Mhitaji couldn’t be more relieved that her cub is now 5 months. Well, it’s not like she did much anyways. The past few months Tufuku played, ate, and slept with Kukwepa and her cub. Kukwepa officially adopted her at 3 months but Mhitaji was forced to stay in the cub den to claim some responsibility. Now she can finally leave.
9y 3m: Mhitaji rolls her eyes when her daughter Tufuku moved into the huntress den. She’s a year old and just doing what other yearlings are required but Mhitaji would much rather be sleeping in a different den. Hopefully Tufuku will hurry up and find a new pride or die like the rest of her older siblings.
10y 2m: Like she expected Tufuku died shortly after leaving the pride. Now however, Mhitaji has given birth to a litter of two boys. After recovering from the birth she got up and tried to head back to the huntress den, the broodmothers could raise them. But, she was met with the snarling face of King Fahari. These were HIS sons and by the gods he wouldn’t let them be raised without a mother. So now Mhitaji lays and nurses the two boys, refusing to name them, or even look at them. Fahari names the little princes, Wazi and Tuli, himself.
