Fernaco

The area of the pride that the lion named Fernaco resides in makes you apprehensive at first. There are Hyenas everywhere, though they sit far away. But as you get closer, they seem not to even botehr to notice you. "We live in peace with this hyena clan. Fernaco is our ambassador, he was raised alongside a hyena cub we found lost in the wetlands. Turns out her uncle was head of the clan, and as a thank you they swore to be our allies."

Sure enough, snuggled up to Fernaco is a hyena, who tilts her head slightly at your approach. Fernaco has the air of someone who likes a joke, and when he greets you he has a playful glint in his eye. "This is Nellie," he says, indicating the Hyena who greets you with a nod. "You must really think this place has gone to the dogs, eh?" He grins widely.

Jellyroot rolls his eyes, and so does Nellie, but the gesture is fond, for sure.

Cub Flavors:
Grandpaw Ungly III was kind enough to entertain Fernaco at the break of dawn when they woke up early. He goes on to tell them of the times you would wake up early and come tug on his mane to try and wake him up. It's funnier on the other end of it, Grandpaw!

Fernaco has been pestering you about being hungry for ages, and when they turn to Grandpaw Ungly III, he just grins and exclaims, "Hey, Hungry, I'm Grandpaw!" He seems to have successfully distracted them... for the moment.
