Biography
Kuona means ‘to see’, and it’s true, Kuona sees much that normal lionesses do not. And yet, despite her sharp gaze, she loves everybody anyway! Brond just adores her! Kuona lives a long and happy life in the Kalahari Pride, and passes as an elder. Unfortunately, she passes unnaturally, when she and two other elders eat some questionable meat during The Great Hunger. The younger members of the pride are sick for a day, then get better, but the elders can’t shake it off. Kuona’s last moments are spent with her three daughters, she dies with a smile on her face.
