As you approached, you see that she had lined up several meerkat carcasses neatly on the ground. She smiles and awaits your praise. Max is busy meticulously grooming her paws and claws of any dirt and blood that clings to them. They have to be perfect. She doesn't even notice you. As you walk into her sight, Max proudly gets up to strut in front of you, showing off her sleek fur.
