Atlas. One of the kindest lionesses that you would ever meet, a soothing presence to all who needed a shoulder to cry on. Alone for much of her life, abandoned by two prides she somehow found herself within a caring pride that loved her for her and weren't at all intimidated by her glowing eyes or dark fur. -- Atlas whispered quiet and comforting words to a crying cub who had just awoken from a nightmare. "Hush sweet child, no need to be frightened..." she muttered, the baby moved closer to her nuzzling into her warmth and safety. She was purring softly further putting the cubs mind at ease gently lulling her into a peaceful and soft sleep. Atlas laid her head down and closed her eyes gently singing a sweet lullaby to anyone that was listening, "Don't cry little cub, I will watch over you, like the bright shining eye in the sky... I'll be your guardian, I'll keep out the darkness and brighten the night with stars." She quietly repeated the verses from memory, a song her mother used to sing to her as she fell asleep at night.
