Adventure of Anubis II and Harper, his mother and father.
°•☆•°
The first day. Anubis was sitting under some trees, escaping the intense heat it created.
Until he notices something lying in the distance, signaling the other lionesses to stay, Anubis goes there thinking it would be an impostor male, but as he gets closer he realizes that it is a young lioness.
Snorting, Anubis picks her up carefully, puts her weight on his shoulders, and carries her for his pride. A few hours later, the lioness wakes up stunned, looking around at the place where she woke up. The reddish lion, with white spots, wrapped in many cloths, including his eyes, much redder than his fur. It appeared and reflected against the Light
— I'm glad you woke up, it looked like you were dead. — Anubis came out of the shadow of the cave, where he was observing her cautiously.
- Where am I? — She raised her head in confusion.
— You are under my command now. – he said darkly. She didn't respond, looking confused. There was fear. – I am joking. — He laughed mockingly. — I am Anubis and this is my cave, it may seem a little spacious and exaggerated, but it is smaller than it seems. — He sat in front of her. - And who are you?
— I'm Harper. — She looked away. — I'm a traveling lioness, thank you for saving me.
— It's a pleasure, Harper... — He greets as formally as he can. — Here is warm water, flowers and everything you need to clean yourself. — He got up and left. — Take a shower, you stink.
Bastard. Arrogant bastard. —She spoke mentally.
When she looks closer she notices the environment, the cave is very closed, with just one entrance and a hole in the ceiling, above the lake and a small waterfall next to it, with flowers, wild fruits and a single tree.
— Not bad... — he added mentally.
After getting out of the shower and spending some time rolling around in the flowers, she decides to leave the cave, she was hungry. When I saw it, the sky was already dark, many stars were shining and the moon was full. She walked a little until she saw Anubis, he was in the company of two more lionesses, one with reddish fur and the other varying between green fur with black spots. She didn't recognize the place or how she got there, she just knew it wasn't common. She approached, a little shy.
— Oh, good night Harper! — Anubis greets with a smile, there was smoke coming out of his mouth, but it wasn't cold. — These are Ansel and Mossy. — He pointed to each one and they smiled back.
— Well... um... hello. — Harper greeted
— Hello dear. — It's a pleasure to meet you — The Red Lioness, Ansel, greeted.
— You slept all day, you must be hungry, what do you want to eat? — Mossy, asked the green and black Lioness
— I am a little, yes. — She sat next to them. — I eat any type of meat, that's not a problem for me! - She smiled.
— Okay, okay. — Anubis stretched and stood up. — Girls, how about finding a suitable dinner? — He addressed Ansel and Mossy, who left soon after. He walked over to Harper and sat down next to her. The thin cloths that covered him were gone, we could see the marks better, his eyes were a sparkling blue, which could easily give confidence to someone who had the courage to look at them for a long time. An angelic face, a demonic personality.
— The night here isn't always hot, you'll get used to it soon. — He looked at the sky.
— You are very beautiful, for a mortal.
—What do you mean by mortal? — She asked confused.
— Why, you are among magical lions now, there are fairies, fairies, demons and angels here. — He smiled sideways — Haven't you noticed yet? She was speechless, that explained the smoke, the really beautiful place, the flowers that looked strange. - Do not be afraid.
— How am I going to get out of here? — She seemed surprised — I need to continue my trip!
- On the right time. — He said calmly. The two lionesses from before approached with the food. — I promise, you will stay here as long as necessary, no more than that. He looked back at her. opening another mischievous smile. — Now worry about eating, you can use my den to spend the night.
The whole night was calm after that, she ate and returned to her den after dancing with the king. Where would He spend the night? She didn't know and didn't think about it at the time. I just slept, just like any other night. The Week with Anubis passes a little too quickly, where they lived days and nights dancing, playing and celebrating their own existence and nothing more. There were gifts and games, Harper met many other magical lions there, like blue, pink, black and some with all colors, there were primitive lionesses, some so big and intimidating, others dwarf, short and gentle. She got used to rolling around in the flowers and green grass, eating the meat of rabbits, hares, wild boars and deer. She learned to play with Anubis's magical cubs, who often flew around her, pulling her fur and laughing.
–Harper, my dear. — The male voice that had become so irritating and gentle at the same time called her. — Come here, I want to show you something.
She ran towards him, smiling with her fangs protruding.
— Hey, Anubis! — He greeted when he got close. - Where are we going?
— It's a surprise, just trust me. — He guided her to the forest that surrounded his pride.
— I promise it's something pleasant.
Among the dense and dark trees, there was a large oak tree, all twisted, it looked like it was hundreds of years old. They approached carefully. Anubis had left his tunic in his own den for this trip and advised her to do the same with the adornments she had received before leaving, now she understood why. They entered the Oak, inside it was a large stone, full of strange marks for Harper. Sunlight somehow found a way in there, illuminating the place.
— Please stay here for a moment. — Anubis pointed to the large stone. —Do you intend to make me a sacrifice? — She joked, but lost her smile when he didn't smile back. — Hey, what is this place?
—It's a sacred stone, where we do some rituals when something bad happens. — He helped her lay down on the stone carefully — Like when a cub isn't born magical, or when it comes with mutations.
- I understand. — She nodded — Why am I here?
—I want to give you something before I let you go. — He smiled serenely. — You'll get some sleep, but not much.
He handed her some herbs, which when chewed made her fall into a deep sleep. When she woke up it was different, she felt different, her senses had become more refined, the grandeur and the feeling of being able to run for kilometers without getting tired, of lifting worlds and not getting tired. Until he looked closer, its fur was significantly longer and shinier.
— Anubis? — She stood up carefully so as not to trip over her own hair.
– Where are you? -Here. — He got up from the shadow and walked towards her. — You look beautiful... how do you feel now?
– Sick. — She looked around. — everything is so clear, so alive and beautiful. - She smiled. - Thank you.
— Let's go back — He smiled. - there are more things to see in this form.
–All this? — She asked excitedly.
–So many that you can't even imagine. — He trotted ahead, an invitation to run. — I'll show you all of them.
– I know. — She ran, many times faster than before.
And the day ended there, after playing, discovering their new body they ran together into the sunset
