A creature detached from our land, yet so much a part of it as any lion



When Freyr was born, her mother was already detached from the pride and didn't pay much attention to her children. Yet Freyr's birth was something unique. The cub was born with horns, and strange wings like those of a bat. It wasn't that much of a surprise to the King. All of her children had something in them that made them special due to their heritage. Being descendant from a spirit, it was to be expected for them to be different. Freyr was raised like other cubs, although her appearance was a fright for many cubs her age. She was alone most of the time, not having many friends in the pride who wouldn't be scared of her. Still, she prevailed and became a caring and strong lioness, eventually choosing to be a Nurser. Given her appearance, she can be very good at scaring potential predators away


As stated before, Freyr is a very caring and nurturing lioness. She cares about all the cubs and adolescents in the pride and loves each and every one of them like a mother would. What she loves the most is watching them grow and become the pride's pride and joy.

KEEP wanted to play "Lion, Lion, Hyena!" with their siblings today, but they were pushed out of the group and teased for being a little crycub. You were about to go over and see if they were okay when Grandpaw Astraea, The Star Maiden arrived, telling the little cub not to mind the others too much, and that he would be happy to play instead. Brightening up immediately, KEEP clambers up onto the great lion's back and the two go off to play elsewhere, while Grandpaw Astraea, The Star Maiden tells an interesting story about meeting a lion called Apedemak... or was that Apollyon?
