She isn't the chattiest of lioness, her time is spent lending a small smile of support to those around her or cuddling up to her mother whom is she extremely close. Her mother was glad to have a cub that was as affectionate as she was, especially when Gyla's other siblings were too busy running around causing trouble. Gyla had always been fascinated with birds and was overjoyed when she found an abandoned magpie, with speckled markings so similar to her own. She raised the little chick as well as she could, releasing it when it was old enough to fend on its own. It visits the sandy-eyed lioness often, usually staying for a few days, the two of them playing by nipping and swiping at each other. It is also a helpful companion when she is out gathering crafting materials for other members of the pride. The bird however keeps its distance whenever Gyla has cubs, she thinks the bird gets jealous of all the attention away from it.
