Indigo

They recall the days they had been expected to be a great King for their previous pride. But along with those expectations, they also recall the reluctance they had. The title of King....didn't seem to feel right to them.
In fact, anything that was required for a young male to do in a pride, didn't feel right at all.

With pressure building and tension rising, they had left their previous pride. One would call it rebellious and perhaps it was, but they never regretted leaving. King Drongo had found them at a water hole and asked what a young lion like themself was doing out in the lands by themselves.

After confessing, Drongo offered a place in their Pride until Indigo decided what to do going forwards.
Not long after, Indigo discovered an odd, colorful liquid on a leaf. Something coaxed them to drink and so they did.

They woke after having fallen asleep from the draught and found themself feeling different....yet whole. Upon looking at themself in a pool of water, they found they had become a lioness!

It was so strange, yet it felt so right! This! This is who they were meant to be!
