Information on the actual Circe, Circe is a minor goddess and enchantress who is known for her ability to transform people into animals in Greek Mythology, she is said to be the daughter of Helios the god of the sun and Perse a oceanid nymph, she is mostly well known because of Odyssey there are many tales of what happened between them, one being they have 3 children together others stating Odyssey is set free to return to his actual wife Penelope The reason I chose a forest background for her is simply because she is said to live on her island called Aeaea which is protected by men she turned into lions and wolves, the background “Gates to Paradise” seems like a forest worthy of a goddess living on a island to me at least. The reason I chose a Leopon for this goddess is because of the fact she turns men into lions, a leopon is a hybrid animal which I feel best suited her as she is a mix of a god and nymph, same with the men she turns into a mix of man and lion.
