When their mothers were asleep they sneaked out of the nursery. One of the cubs distracted the Night Guard while the rest left the pride's camp. They managed to cross the territory border, but soon someone stopped them... A dark, beautiful lioness. She was barely visible in the darkness. Her name was Eclipse. She managed to convince the cubs to return to their pride, and to make sure they won't get hurt, she came with them. Anza and mothers of the cubs were really grateful. In return, Anza asked Eclipse to join his pride, or at least stay in it for a while. At first she wanted to stay in the pride for a few days, but she ended up liking all the cubs she rescued, and they liked her too. When she was getting ready to leave, the cubs stopped her. They convinced her to stay and join them in the nursery as a caretaker. Eclipse spent her life taking care of cubs in the nursery.
