Silky was the eldest daughter of the pride's previous leader.
After her father's death Silky became the new leader as there were no males in the pride at the time. She was a good queen, but she knew that the pride needed a real king to protect their land and breed with the lionesses. She often travelled to The Giving Tree to look for a potential heir she could train, but she never found a cub perfect for this role.
One day the huntresses spotted male lion's scent on their territory. Silky ordered them to find the mysterious lion, as she believed that it was the mighty king she was waiting for. When she finally met the lion she was... Sceptical. His name was Anza. He was young and healthy, but also nervous and weak... He had a good soul, but it wasn't enough to protect the pride. But still, there were no other options, so Silky decided that Anza will stay with the pride as a Guest at first. Maybe he'll prove that he's worthy of being a king... He had potential for sure, but he needed a little more that that.
He finally impressed Silky by helping her fight a group of prideless lions. After that she finally made him a king, and to her surprise, Anza decided to make her his queen.
After a while she gave birth to Anza's cubs, two daughters, Cloudy and Sandy.

When the pride began to grow Silky decided to create a Hunting Party only for the best huntresses of all. She called it "The Hunting Masters". Being a part of this party was considered to be the highest of honors.

When cubs began to die in unknown ways she decided to don't have any until the case is solved. She knew that she wouldn't handle the heartbreak if her own cubs died.

Soon, Silky began to age. She was no longer as agile as before, and her hunting results were getting worse and worse. When she turned 14 years old she decided to retire. She gave up her queen title and retired from being a huntress. She gave the role of The Hunting Masters leader to Peanut.
Anza chose his mate, Iris, to be the next queen.
Until her death, Silky was always available for the royal couple to help them. Anza even offered to give her the title of advisor, but Silky declined.

One quiet, warm night, Silky passed away. She was happy when she felt life leaving her body. She had a good life. She knew that Anza and Iris will take good care of the pride, she wasn't worried.
The pride made Silky a beautiful funeral. Her grave is visited at least once a day. New cubs born in the pride are always told about Queen Silky, who once ruled their land.
