Onyxus was the weird kid on the playground. They'd have interests and hobbies vastly different from the rest of their peers. While others were playing and socializing, Onyxus was collecting rocks and interesting leaves, studying beetles, counting the legs of millipedes, and studying bird songs. Not much has changed as the years went by. Onyxus stayed a silent lion with peculiar interests, asking questions about things no one else did, which sparked the interest of Candace, the Archivist.

As stated before, Onyxus was always a quiet one. They are in fact a selective mute, speaking very little, yet when they do it's usually a question about something that interests them or straight-up info-dumping. They live to learn about the world, social interactions always being the last thing on their brain.
