Aoki has been seen as a hindrance ever since he was born. His siblings were all beautiful at their birth, but Aoki was ugly; he was a horrible-looking cub, and one day his parents gave him away to the Gorilla Enclave. They thought that by giving him away, he would no longer be a problem and that he would never bother them again. But the second that he reached 12 months old the gorilla enclave got sick of him, got sick of his high energy and his loud mouth, so he was left alone in the middle of winter to fend for himself that was until he saw her a beautiful lioness, he hobbled over to her trying his best to make it to her and as he made it to the mystery Lioness she started walking the other way not noticing him so he did the only thing that he could he roared or at least tried to only a small squeak left his throat but she saw him and saved him, she brought him to her pride and he was given a title 'The New King' and a brother Rosso, he loved this he finally found a place where he belonged he was so happy, the lioness who saved him, Mia became his broodmother keeping him safe and teaching him how to act like a lion, and on the day of the succession ceremony when he saw his brother he was so happy knowing that his brother would make it as the leader of the pride that was until he heard Draven the head of the pack and Rosso's father, and his adoptive father speak in a loud booming voice he said 'The New Head of the pride shall be Aoki, the New King'. Aoki could see the way that his brothers faces dropped, and the only thing going through his head was 'Why'. Rosso had been trained for this so why him, but none the less he took his spot begrudgingly he did his best tried to make it through the tough times tried to keep his pride alive until one day he saw something familiar in the distance it was a pride of lions and before he could even react the battle had begun he ran as fast as he could to get Mia his only true mother hiding her in a cave before exiting the cave only to his his first pride, his parents and siblings killing his current pride the people who raised him and loved him and never abandoned him, he fought hard and he killed many of his own family, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and once the battle was over he saw it the horrified look of Rosso his friend, his brother, the one person who he looked to and he looked hurt beyond hurt, but when he saw Aoki he took a deep breath before walking up to him telling him that everything was going to be ok and once he calmed down and they retrieved Mia they left to find a new pride somewhere that they could live in peace without fear or pain.
