She isn't blind, but her impairment prevented her from becoming anything else in the pride but a Healer. Her mother always saw this as a disgrace and disowned her daughter from the moment of birth. The Healer herself is very fond of her job though, and wouldn't give it up for anything in the world. Mikena is, unlike her mother, a very caring and kind lioness. She is very gentle with her patients, making sure to keep them calm and feeling safe.
