She often watched the older lionesses talk and gossip about both the males in their pride, often fawning over one of the other. They always talked about how handsome they looked or how strong they seemed. Always talking about how they would make strong and healthy cubs with them. She knew that logically, this made sense for the lionesses to assess their pride males with scrutiny, thinking of the future of the Pride. However, she often wondered what it would be like to just love a male. Without the weight of having to produce heirs and just sharing cuddles and grooming sessions. To just talk about their days and be with one another.
