Precious was Ragdoll's only cub.
During her cubhood, Precious was often spoiled by her mother. When she was playing with other cubs and wasn't winning, her mother often scolded them for "bullying" her perfect daughter. Because of that, the cubs began to avoid Precious.
She grew up alone, with no one to play with. Her mother tried to convince her that it's because she's too special for these dirty, stupid cubs! She's too beautiful, smart and perfect to play with them. Precious wasn't so sure about it... Her pridemates weren't stupid, ugly or dirty. They were all different, special in their own ways. No one was better or worse, they were equal.
Precious tried to talk about it with her mother, but it only made her angry. How could her own cub say something like this!? How disrespectful!
Precious grew up isolated from other lions. Her pridemates believed that she was just like her mother. Narcissistic, self-absorbed, despising everyone around her. They had no idea how sweet and kind she actually was!
When Ragdoll died of old age, Precious was devastated. Her mother was her only family, her only friend... Manipulative and toxic one, but still. She had no one else!
While Precious was mourning, a few lionesses decided to comfort her. They had a chance to see how Precious really was! While she was recovering, the lionesses finally realised what an awesome soul she was. Despite her situation, she always made sure that they are comfortable, she was always so nice and helpful... Maybe it sounds bad, but after all, Ragdoll's death was a good thing.
Precious finally found her place in the pride. She ended up being loved by all her pridemates! And she loved them too.
Precious sometimes visits her mother's grave. She knew that she was a bad person, but she can't help but miss her... She was her mom after all. Even though she was horrible, she loved her. Precious hopes that she's doing better wherever she is right now.

After Misty's death Precious became the second leader of The Ice Claws.

When Snake passed away and King Hawk began to rule over The Lake Land on his own, he made many changes that the pride wasn't exactly fond of. Most lions kept quiet in fear of being punished, but Precious couldn't. She was tired of Hawk's choices, so she publicly called him out. She criticized his way of ruling and undermined his royal authority. The king banished her from his land out of rage.
Precious, however, did not give up. She stayed on the outskirts of The Lake Land, where she waited for the end of Hawk's terrible reign.
Hawk was soon overthrown, and Oleander took his place. Precious then returned to the pride, where she was rewarded for her bravery with a place in The Hunting Masters. However, Precious declined the honor and returned to being the leader of The Ice Claws.
