Healer

Fìnn arrived in the pride as a young cub, alongside his mother who was a lonely traveler and sought shelter in these lands to provide her son what he needed. She served the pride as a huntress during their stay and planned to leave once her son would be more strong to endure a rogue lifestyle.

The cub did know nothing about the life of a pride, and was a bit awkward at first. But with the kindness of some particular members of the clan, he soon became a happy kid willingly playing with the others youngs. While he enjoyed spending time with many of them, especially Nokthea and Wendela, he developped a special bond with Uvek, the only other male of his age in the territory that instinctively became like a brother to him.

He did find his place so well that once he was old and strong enough for his mother deciding it was time to move, the teenager decided to remain within the Pride.

His mother accepted his choice, however, after being sure that her son would still be cared for in the pride, she left the territory to return to her wandering life. She asked two lionesses she befriended and did have trust in, Shasha and Amaliel, to keep an eye on Fìnn for her. She also promised him that she´ll come visit him once a year to see what he´d become. And that they´ll send messages to each other through the help of her bird companion.

As a pride member, Fìnn now had to decide which path to choose in order to serve the group. He wasn´t a good hunter, and didn´t feel like sentinel, warrior or guard would be tasks made for him. Amaliel saw his hesitation, saw him feeling lost. She offered the young to help her in her work, and as she started to talk about herbs, plants and saw her treating a cub´s wounds, Fìnn decided that it was what he wanted to be. Someone who could take care of the others. A healer.

While she was glad about the idea, Amaliel´s knoweldge wasn´t as vast as she would´ve loved. She merely could be considered as a healer assistant.. The young male didn´t care. It would be fine enough for the time being! She was the one who made him realize what he wanted to be, after all !

So for now, Fìnn is learning all he can under Amaliel ´supervision. When time would come to learn more and to surpass her, he´d search for a confirlmed Healer´s mentorship. Both student and mentor are glad of this deal.

The Disease that decimated a part of the pride has been hard to live for the white lion. More experienced than when he was a young adult, he did his best to bring a bit of relief to the sick ones. He and Amaliel were overwhelmed by the number of patients, and their knowledge didn't help to developp a cure. Finn never felt so useless.

When King Kveth brought back a mysterious lioness named Helrae, Finn offered his help to help gathering supplies for her researches of a remedy.

King Kveth died soon before receiving the cure and passed the trone to the lioness who saved the clan.

When Amaliel, who has always been dear to him, died of old age, it broke Finn's heart. In order to never feel this useless again, Finn started to learn from the new leader as her knowledge in medicine seemed endless.
