Chex Mix doesn't know where he came from. He only remembers being beneath water in an almost timeless space, floating in darkness and murk. He was fished out of the mire by Justinian, who, relating the tiny cub's tale to his own, took pity on him and took him into his pride. He was put under the care of one of the broodmothers who happily accepted him. Chex Mix tried his best to get along with the other cubs, and as a fruit of his efforts, one bright and cheery cub stuck by him constantly; Cheezit. Cheezit, in Chex Mix' eyes, was stupid. He was clumsy and loud, and constantly ended up running into Chex Mix or stepping on his toes. Chex Mix did his best to be friendly with Cheezit, but was always mildly irritated by him. After learning about Cheezit's past, however, Chex Mix began to see him differently. The two are constantly exploring, talking, and sparring together, and have become quite like brothers. Chex Mix sometimes finds he has strange powers that he is unable to control properly. Although he isn't strong in them just yet, he finds that certain small creatures can bend to his will or that he can predict their demise. flavor text chex mix got in trouble today for biting too hard.
