Pebble was Cloudy's first and only daughter. When she and her brother were born, their mother realized that she didn't love them. Because of that she decided to abandon her cubs. Luckily, she was smart enough to just leave them in the nursery, so caretakers could take care of them.
Pebble's brother died because of some sickness caused by cold. They were born during the pride's first winter, which was a pretty dangerous season.
Pebble wasn't affected by her brother's death. They weren't really close.
When growing up, Pebble was counted as one of the orphaned cubs in the nursery. She thought that It's unfair, because she knew that her real mother lived somewhere in the pride. She had no idea who she was and why she wasn't taking care of her cubs herself, but she didn't really mind. Only a bad lioness would abandon her cubs. Maybe it's better that she didn't know her.

When she began her training she wasn't doing very well. She was clumsy, easily distracted and slow. The mentors had no idea how to help her. Fortunately, Anza had one.
He decided that Pebble needed one-on-one lessons. He chose Lotus to train with her.
And... The lessons with Lotus were succesful!
During their trainings the lionesses got pretty close, Pebble even saw Lotus as the mother she never really had.
One time when Lotus was leaving for a few days to visit the jungle in which she lived once, Pebble asked to go with her. When they got there, Pebble found out that she, for some reason, was able to talk to birds! She even befriended two parrots named Kiwi and Papaya.

When the right time came, Pebble decided to have cubs. She left the Pride for a while, and when she came back, she was carrying a little blue-eyed furball. It was her first son, whom she named Reindeer. Since he was a male he had to leave the pride eventually, but Pebble did her best to be a good mother to him for as long as he was in the pride. She hopes to see him someday again...
Later Pebble had two more cubs - Two daughters, Bat'Wing and Lark'Spot. These names were inspired by a naming system used in a pride of warriors Pebble once visited with Anza and Tawny.
Lark'Spot left the pride as soon as she became an adult, but Bat'Wing decided to stay.
Pebble also once found an orphaned cub while traveling to the jungle with Lotus and Bat'Wing. She named the cub Luna and decided to adopt it.
