Blizzard was born to her mothers,
Sandy and
Winter. She was aware that she must have a father somewhere in the world because two lionesses weren't capable of producing a cub, but she never felt the need to look for him. Her mothers took great care of her and she considered them both to be her real parents.
Because of her lack of knowledge about her father Blizzard didn't know that she wasn't just a normal lion... Yes, she looked like one, but in her veins she had blood of a hellhound.
At first it didn't really show, she was growing up just like any other cub.
But soon she becan acting oddly - She howled and barked instead of roaring, and when she was happy she wagged her tail. That was when Sandy had to to tell Blizzard about her father. The huntress was afraid that her cub will be scared or feel insecure, but to her surprise Blizzard was excited! She thought that it's the coolest thing possible! She was even more excited when Sandy asked her not to tell anyone about her hellhound heritage. It was such an awesome secret!
When she turned 1 year old she began feeling a deep connection to the stars. During the starry nights, she felt more energetic, stronger, and powerful. But because of that during day time she was weak and tired...
When her time to join a hunting party came she asked to create her own. It was supposed to work at night and be called "The Star Hunters". Anza accepted her request.
Later Blizzard welcomed
Heather and
Autumn into The Star Hunters. Despite having members, Blizzard often hunts alone, while her friends are asleep.
The first lion that Blizzard told about her father was her best friend,
Ibis. The rest of the pride never thought much about the way Blizzard acted, she was like that since she was a cub. But Ibis joined the pride when Blizzard was already an adult - her behavior was something new for her.
Blizzard was more than happy to finally share her secret with someone. She could see that Ibis didn't really believe her, but she didn't mind. She knew that it was pretty unbelievable.
At some point, Blizzard met
Frost. She found her at The Lake Land's territory as a cub, lonely and helpless. Blizzard took the poor cub to the pride, where she grew up and became kind of a little sister to her.
Frost began to adopt more and more unusual behaviors from Blizzard as she got older. Just like her, she started wagging her tail, barking and even howling. Nobody thought much about it, after all, she spent so much time with Blizzard that over time she could unconsciously start imitating her. However, it soon turned out that it was not only the influence of Blizzard... Frost, most likely, was also a hybrid of a hellhound and a lion. During her first hunt, she discovered supernatural abilities that were unusual for lions. This discovery brought Blizzard and Frost even closer together.
After leading The Star Hunters for years, Blizzard got a invitation to join The Hunting Masters. She was unsure at first, but Ibis and Frost convinced her to accept the offer.
After leaving The Star Hunters, Blizzard asked Frost to replace her as the party's leader.
When
Morning Glory retired, she chose Blizzard to take her place as The Hunting Master, the best huntress in the whole pride.
Unfortunately Blizzard wasn't doing very well in her new role. Right, she was a great huntress, but as a master she needed to be responsible, independent and wise too. Blizzard had neither of those, most of the time she was acting like a big cub. Fun-loving, spontaneous and loud.
Luckily, despite her flaws, Blizzard got to keep her role. Oleander allowed Frost to help Blizzard with the more official parts of her role. That means Frost attended meetings of The Council with her, helped her with ceremonies that she had to be a part of, and overall just became her advisor on many topics.
