Prince Blackbird, son of Princess Bluebird and prince of the pride, was much like his mother: quiet and keeping to himself. His obsidian fur was sleek and shone with a metallic sheen in the light, and his eyes, a bright unsettling white, held a depth that few could ever hope to fathom. He was the epitome of grace and poise, moving through his pride lands as if he were a part of it. But beneath the surface, something was amiss. Something was...off. It was as if his once-steady mind had become unraveled, like a tapestry left too long in the rain. And with each passing day, that unraveling only seemed to accelerate.

The other members of the pride, those who weren't too busy with their own lives, began to take notice of Prince Blackbird's erratic behavior. He would pace back and forth, muttering to himself in a language long forgotten. Sometimes, he would stop and stare off into the distance, as if he were seeing something that no one else could. And when he spoke, his voice was cold and unyielding, devoid of any warmth or emotion.
