She seemed pretty laid back when he had approached her, offering her a place to stay in his pride after he asked about her circumstances. Apparently, she had enough of her parents scolding her for her "Laziness" and struck out on her own, figuring she could manage and not be nagged over for just being herself. She agreed and said she would train just as hard as the other younger lionesses, promising her laid back nature was not to be confused for laziness.
