Jupiter always had the dream of exploring. Overlooked by her parents and pride for her mutated sister, she always felt she could experience more. She wanted to see the world and experience what she could. Her pride was reluctant about letting her leave, seeing two Traveling Lionesses were murders in their travels that originated from their pride: Ritueel and Frost.

After a lot of convincing, Jupiter managed to agree that when she turned a year old, she would be able to leave and venture as long as she eventually returned.

Jupiter swore she wouldn’t be caught off guard and killed or chased away. There was a killer out there, and she would not be another one of their victims.

And thus her story begins.

Lore: Jupiter safely makes it to Noelle silva's pride, though noelle is old she is still more than happy to have Jupiter stay for a while. Jupiter was a bit hungry so noelle was quick to fetch her some food and give her a gift that she may take with her on her travels. Though the pride was small it was a happy and loving pride everyone welcomed Jupiter with open arms and though she will not be staying they said that if they can they will keep an out for her in the future during her travels.

Lore:

After leaving her last pride she wandered the savanna for days, the road was long and hard. More than once she came across danger and strife but skillfully weaved her way out of trouble! On one particularly hot day, she had been searching for water, the area she was crossing had not a drop in sight, and she couldn’t smell water when she opened her mouth to taste the air. Feeling defeated she decided to lay under a large shelf of rocks surrounded by brambles and bushes. As she licked the dirt from her paws to soothe her aching pads a strange scent filled her nose making her fur bristle. She had only a few moments between when the scent hit her nostrils and when the creature flung itself at her with wild abandon! She panicked and yowled in surprise as a large yellow piebald female lion pounced on her causing her to roll a few feet as she escaped her attackers grasp. Jupiter quickly recovered and, tail twitching with agitation, squared up to the lioness that had startled her. The other lioness had rolled as well but instead of moving to pounce again, she was laying on her side, tail swaying lazily as she rubbed her head against the ground playfully. “Oh calm down I was just practicing!” The piebald says relaxed. After a moment Jupiter shakes out her fur and wearily pads to the other female keeping out of swiping distance. “Did you need something?” She asks quizzically. The pie slowly stands and stretches showing she means no harm. “No, no, just patrolling my territory, my name is MoseyMan by the way,” she purrs stretching a paw to Jupiter. Jupiter pays her paw in greeting and nods “My name is Jupiter!” She says already feeling better about not being in danger. “Nice to meet you! Why don’t you stay a while? I could teach you some interesting things, my pride knows many practices.” Mosey says rubbing her head against Jupiter's shoulder. Jupiter makes a pleased chuffing noise and nods happily. “Good! Come with me.” Mosey says leading her under the stone shelf into the caves of her pride.
After being shown around the pride caves, Jupiter is gifted a golden set of chains and flower covers for herself. “All my special ladies are laden with many beautiful things! I know you aren’t here to stay forever but please consider spending some extended time with us.” She trills happily.

Jupiter stays many moons and a heat period with the pride of mosey, she bears two cubs, one that the pride leader takes a great liking too. After her cubs are born and began weaning she noticed her fur and mane changing in color, some odd Magic seeped into her fur as she stayed in this place making it lighter. This event is what made her decide to travel back to her original pride for just a day or two, to see what omen this could be.

Jupiter sighed as she crossed the savanna. Slowly. Painfully slowly. The sun beat down on her fur with the strength of a wildebeest stampede. She wasn't sure exactly how long she had been traveling for today, but probably a very, very long time. At least--that's what it felt like. Jupiter groaned, staring at her paws as she walked. When was the last time she had eaten? She should probably catch something to ea--- OUCH! Jupiter yelped, scrambling backwards as she crashed into a boulder. That was probably payback for staring at the ground. She sat back on her haunches, rubbing at her forehead with a paw. Now might have been a good time to observe her surroundings. But, when she stared up, trying to get a good look of what was infront of that god-forsaken boulder, the rock did not stop. Infact, it went up as far as she could see. A mountain? Really? In the middle of the African plains? Very unlikely. Jupiter grimaced. Was this a dream, or just strange terrain? ...But, it looked important. She pawed at the grass below her, thinking. Jupiter had also noticed the grass was softer here, with a more green-ish tone, and the flowers that grew nearby seemed more vibrant. Could a pride be living here? And was it one that would welcome her, or kill her like her predecessors? Jupiter frowned, thinking back to Ritueel and Frost. That was a very unlikely chance, right?
Well, worth a shot.

Jupiter huffed, clambering up the last of the rocks. That cliff was waayy bigger than she expected. She took a moment to observe her surroundings once more. Jupiter took a look behind her, and the sky was already starting to turn pink! How strange... did she really take that long to climb? She sighed, the tired-ness must have been getting to her head, because she swore she heard whispering ahead. Oh well, she supposed it was a good time to go to sleep, anywa--- "Hey!" a voice barked. Jupiter jumped, lashing her tail and perking her ears. Okay, that definitely wasn't her head! And just as quick as she heard the voice, something--actually, someone--crashed into her, raked her shoulder with unsheathed claws, and, in a flash, disappeared to the other side of her. Somehow, her attacker looked barely effected, not even letting out a heavy breath. Strange, or strong? She was betting the latter, but who knows? Jupiter looked up.
"Wha--"
Her attacker cut her off. "You really think you can just wander into other territories and not expect to get caught?"
Another voice joined in. A yellow lioness appearing from the bushes. "Hey, it's not a big dea--"
"YES IT IS." The lioness that had attacked Jupiter turned to her. "You. C'mon." She glared at her before walking away.
The yellow lioness sighed and clambered out of the bushes, rushing to Jupiter's side. "...Sorry about that. She's very defensive about our territory." She sighed. "You can call me Nekhbet. The other lioness is Ecstasy. You?" Jupiter looked up at her. "Wha... oh. Jupiter. My name's Jupiter."
The three lionesses kept walking for what felt like forever. A few other lionesses glared at them--Jupiter assumed they were other members of the pride.
Soon, they reached a small clearing. Jupiter glared around, spotting patches of purple flowers growing all over. She blinked at Nekhbet and strided over to one.
"The--" She got cut off. Again.
Nekhbet yelped and rushed to her with a sense of urgency. "WAIWAIAIWAIAWAIT DON'T!! DO NOT GET NEAR THOSE--"
Jupiter sneezed. "AACHHOO--"
The yellow lioness sighed. "...flowers."
Jupiter blinked at her. "Is something wrong?"
She just glared at Jupiter's face. "Your nose-- actually, nevermind. Come on, we're almost there."
All three of them continued through the clearing, until it looked a bit more like a home than an empty wasteland. Ecstasy looked back at Jupiter with a seemingly less murderous gaze. "This is it. You can stay in our pride a while---we've never really had any travelling lions visit for a while." Jupiter nodded, but she was still a little confused. "Here, I'll, uh-- get you something to wrap that wound on your legs with. Sorry about that. Nekhbet, go help her get settled in. I'll talk to Kargaşa." The dark lioness rushed away, and Nekhbet looked back at Jupiter. "There's a cave to the left you can sleep in. Come, I'll show you."
She rushed away. Jupiter followed close behind. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad.
